    Cally's baby

I am trying to remember was it a boy or a girl that Cally gave birth too?
I know JR had someone investigating but then decided to let it go. I am wondering when JR's will is read if we find out that he acknowledged the baby or even took care of them. If it was a girl it would be nice to see her enter the picture and rival John Ross.

I think it was a boy. I'm wondering, too, if JR provided for him in his will, as well as for James Beaumont and his child (JR's grandson). There hasn't been any mention of any of them in the new series.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^July's right Just A Thought. Cally&J.R.'s child was a boy. I'd love to finally meet the nameless guy lol. If he's not with Cally at the funeral I hope she at least calls the child's name.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^Oh Vic Jr I loved Newhart. Larry&the two Darryls never failed to have me on the floor laughing. The episode where Stephanie was at their house for dinner still tickles the heck out of me whenever I see it. Newhart is the only show, imo, that it made perfect sense for the entire show to have been a wild bizarre dream of Bob Hartley's lol. After about season five or six I'd often laugh to myself and say "this can't be 'real' " Bob Newhart&company ended that show just right for my tastes lol.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^I used to watch WGN's Outta Sight Retro Night faithfully. You're comment to the attendant is LOL funny. Comments like that lead me to believe I've been right about you all along. You've a wry sense of humor, much like my own I might add lol.
I don't think JohnRoss is going after Cliff. I'll be pleasantly surprised if Ken's on long enough or often enough to become majorly involved in a storyline.

I would love that! Looks like good ole Cliff has gotten a bit big for his britches. I'd love to see John Ross or Christopher take him down a peg or two or three - lol. I'd say Bobby too, but he's got enough to worry about right now. And, yes, it's going to be a big fall for Mr. Barnes!!!

I want to see Cally, her son, James, and Jimmy (James' son that JR grew fond of) at his funeral. I know a lot of fans didn't like Sasha Mitchell ( James) but I liked him in the 13th season--not the 14th. I thought he and Cally had a great friendship.

They had a lot of potential. But Cally was gone for most of the final season. Maybe they would have made a great couple. Sigh.

To comment on everyone's comments-lol-just imagine how crazy it would make John Ross if these Ewing boy's not only showed up to pay their respects to JR, but STAYED in Dallas!! So JR has two more sons then?! And John Ross not only one-but TWO rivals, ah, I mean brothers/siblings!? (just want to make sure my memory is right) ....Sasha Mitchell on Dallas reminded me of Sean Kanan when he played Deacon Sharpe on B&B. (who's once again AJ Quartermaine, for anyone who watches GH). I can just feel the rivalry beween him John Ross!! ........It could make for some great story telling in the future when (so very sadly) we won't have JR on the show to keep the drama going.....

And let's not forget James's son - JR's grandson - he would be in his twenties by now - another potential rival for a piece of the pie.

Fantastic thought Tulip. On original Dallas James&John Ross got on pretty well but I'm almost sure things would be different now lol. John Ross having to protect 'what's rightfully his' from two brothers&a nephew would cause junior all kinds of grief

I see what you mean about Sean&Sasha.
