I'm always on a wing and a prayer for certain characters and root for the underdog..... Frank needs resurrecting.Can't someone pound on his chest and push a hose down his throat or something????? Can his stomach be pumped????? I feel like it's not EVER over until the dirt goes on the casket and we all have seen characters come back from THAT.
Especially after reading a lot of comments from other posters, I know I'm not alone in "vilifying" Cliff for what he did to Frank. Maybe I could loosen up on Cliff if Frank survives. I loved the way Frank held a lot of cards in regards to the Barnes family and their secrets and I even got a kick out of the way the Ewings had little respect for Frank and underestimated his importance. He was constantly regarded as the lackey and it was amusing because he never showed his hand.
Not to say that Frank is a marquee player, but I believe he had enough grit and attention from the viewers to ride the bench a little longer. He never even got any traction.

what if cliff gave him medicine that would make it look like hes dead but not...................and then he'll get him before they bury him and he goes after jr to kill him for telling that he was helping him...........that would also make john ross feel guilty for telling cliff and losing his dad too.................

no i am not,i think its a idea,he gave frankie medicine to make it look like he died after cliff gets the body to bury it,or what ever,he lets the drug where off or what ever and frankies going to be mad that jr told and it got back to cliff,and that brings john ross into it because he told,and frankie trys to kill jr for telling.I ONLY PUT A SPOILER ON THERE BECAUSE THIS MIGHT BE WHERE THEY ARE GOING AND I KNOW MIDWEST DOESNT WANT TO KNOW AHEAD OF TIME AND THIS GIVES HIM TIME TO GET OUT BEFORE HE READS IT,I'D NEVER SAY ANYTHING TO HURT ANYONES FEELINGS ON HERE,AND I DO THINK YOUR IDEA IS A GOOD ONE.Originally Posted by he'salivetoday

I think your idea is plausible for sure, Victor!! Great dramatic twist to have whatever Frank took be a red herring so to speak, and have him wake up later on, if he is not revived on the spot as OP suggested........To the OP, very interesting idea to have Frank survive. The actor sure made a good impression on many of us-he did a great job. Maybe he will be revived? We shall see, right!?

Sure, Frank could receive some CPR right on the spot, but your idea takes things a lot deeper.Almost TOO deep for shallow Cliff, but he's supposed to be slicker this time around and this "magic roofy" may be the ticket to demonstrate that he can truly compete with the creativity of JR.

I hope Frank does survive. I like him on the show. I love his facial expressions when he's angry! I wouldn't want him angry with me, that's for sure - lol!!!

Just want to chime in here and say that Midwest is not alone in wanting to avoid spoilers. I share his feelings on this 100% and try to remain spoiler-free.
Hi July, I don't think Victor was posting a spoiler but a 'what if' idea, as I sort of did myself. Hope that's okay to do! I remain spoiler free on all soaps I watch myself, but I thought we could discuss what we think might happen, I don't think those are spoilers. but then I am not a mod.

Hi, Tulip! Yes, I enjoyed this week's show very much. Every episode is packed with action and I always feel the need to watch it a second time in case I missed anything. Sometimes things move so quickly, I wish they would slow the pace down just a little so I have time to absorb what just happened. My son, who watched the first couple of episodes this season with me, said he likes the quick pace. I guess I'm just getting old- lol.

The actor who plays Frank did an excellent job in the last episode. However, I'm glad the character is gone. I don't like the way they have written Cliff Barnes. It has been pretty lousy seeing what they did to him. Maybe getting rid of Frank is putting things right.

i watch them over on demand too so much happens,i dont want to miss anything,and ive noticed that we start watching at 9 and the next thing you know its almost 10 whats up with that,,,,we'll enjoy when they start showing back to back shows....lol----------I really know waht you mean about how quickly things are progressing on Dallas!! Someone in another thread mentioned that JR looked like he was seeing a ghost right before he was shot in last night's episode. I'm thinking the ghost could have been Frank. Maybe victor was right when he speculated that Frank's death could have been faked. He certainly had motive to shoot JR - he blamed JR for talking him into betraying Cliff and thus dishonoring his "father", which caused him to lose everything.

^.... Don't get my hopes up all high!! Don't play with my emotions about Frank being the one that shot JR. It makes TOO MUCH sense to not be feasible.

I agree. I think it does make sense once you get past how he was able to fake his own death. It also makes sense because although Cliff didn't pull the trigger, he's the reason Frank would kill JR, so in the end it would be JR's archenemy who is responsible for his death. JMHO.^

I don't think Franks Alive - he died in the middle of a court room and would have been pronounced dead
usually to revive somebody u will need an adrenaline shot and even then I don't think
Cliff is smart enough to pull something like this off - frank is dead I believe he sacrificed himself as he
disgraced himself and wanted his death to be the ultimate sacrifice for Rebecca
if he came back - Rebecca's goin jail maybe as the truth could come out

LOL about Cliff not being smart enough to pull it off! Cliff might not know about it. Frank probably has his own connections who could help him with that. If he did fake his death, he probably left the country afterward and tracked JR down in Abu Dhabi (if that's where JR really was). I don't think he plans to come back, so Rebecca would be safe. Just pure speculation!!!

You see if Cliff wanted to save Frank he wouldn't have got him arrested in the first place
if Frank escaped on his own he would have to have had an autopsy
and some really good connections - I believe frank committed suicide to save himself from prison
and to take the blame for Rebecca and redeem himself to his family
And if he got away why would he come back and kill JR??
