Pamela Rebecca: Is She or Isn't She?

If you had to bet all your life savings, would you say Pamela Rebecca is still pregnant or not? No maybes, no "not sure", no "other" (either she is or she isn't)!

I voted but didn't post. Now,tired of the silence lol,I'm back to say I don't think Pammie's pregnant by Christopher anymore.
P.S. After the reveal comes I'm fully prepared to eat crow if I'm wrong. I'll also say a hearty&sincere "I'm sorry" for ever doubting the intergrity of saintly Pamela Rebbecca Barnes.

Thanks for posting, dr.ivan. I voted "No" too, but if we're wrong, I think the writers should eat crow - not us - for asking us to believe the unbelievable (referring to the amount of time gone by and the company, as we've said in a bunch of previous posts on other threads). Suspension of disbelief can go only so far, and the writing for "Dallas"has always been superior. I hope it continues.

I'd say no. But only because her tummy is flat, and I think by now she should be showing at least a little bit. Either a long time passed between s1 and s2 and she's already given birth to them, or next to no time at all passed, and she's 2 months pregnant only. Everyone would notice that she's not having a big belly by now if she is supposed to be 6 months pregnant. They've all seen her. John Ross certainly has. He's not questioning anything.

According to a post on Facebook, Audrey Landers filmed a scene recently, and it said she is becoming a grandmother. I say that she is still pregnant, and will give birth this season. I only question whether or not the paternity test was faked because of those pics of Pamela Rebecca and Tommy.

I think she is, to be honest. The time lapse between season's 1 and 2 wasn't as long as some may think.
I'm not as worried about it as some of my friends on here. She shouldn't be showing yet, IMO. So, yes, I think shes pregnant because if she had had the babies we would've seen them by now and Christopher would've mentioned it.
Now, if she's miscarried that's a different story. However, I just don't believe she has.

It's just weird that if she's still pregnant, she hasn't mentioned the babies even once this season. I'm sorry, but the little things that a pregnant woman usually does, especially on shows, are just not there - as someone else mentioned in another thread - talking to the babies, rubbing her belly - we haven't seen anything like that. She hasn't even mentioned them. And John Ross, who is sleeping with her, has not mentioned them either. A new viewer who missed last season would not even know she's supposed to be pregnant, if not for the one scene with Christopher fixing up his old crib. As I said in another thread, the lack of reference to the babies by their mother, plus her stomach's flat-as-a-board appearance, four episodes into the season, seems very loud to me. I really hope I'm wrong.

I guess a possibility would be that PR miscarried one baby and is therefore still pregnant. That could explain her not showing yet even with the passing of several months. It would also explain Christopher getting only one crib ready. Still, you'd think she would show signs of protectiveness toward her surviving baby, talking to him/her and rubbing her stomach. I don't know. It's an enigma to me.

ITA with you July it is weird that neither John Ross or Rebecca have mentioned the babies, however, I'm still of the thought that she wouldn't be showing yet and I'm ok with it.

She is pregnant with twins right? If so then she should have a little bump at least. I had twins and by the 15th week you could visibly tell I was pregnant. But I think the writers tend to forget she is pregnant. I don't believe she would have what appears to be heavy sex scenes with John Ross while pregnant with twins.

I do hope she is though because the twist would be good. I would also be interesting to learn that she had a miscarriage and winds up pregnant with John Ross's kid instead.

I was thinking that, too. That's another reason I don't think she's pregnant any more.

I don't think that would be a problem. I know when my wife was pregnant for the first time we were encouraged to have sex and it wasn't like John Ross was being violent, just... Um, passionate (er, aggressive). For me, this is another topic that isn't that big of a deal.
Now, watch me come up with egg on my face and I'll be happy to admit that I am wrong. When and if the moment arises.

That would be something - the mother of JR's grandchild being "that Barnes woman"! Too bad JR won't be around to see it, if that's in fact where the writers are going. That scenario would definitely be rich in potential for great family squabbles and some funny one-liners from JR!

Yes, it appears she is! It's funny that on the night they finally show that she's still pregnant, the "No" votes surpass the "Yes" votes by three for the first time!!!

So I guess it took only two months for the new Ewing Energies offices to be fully constructed, furnished, equipped, staffed and operational. That must be a record. I wish I could find contractors who are that efficient - lol!
