who would you like return for JR's funeral episode.

from your own speculation - who do you think will come back to pay there respects to him

apart from family like Ray, Lucy, Gary, Val, i was thinking back to the people in the original series and thought maybe Donna might come back for an episode maybe
and also i was thinking ....... Punk Anderson - although the actor is not 87 years old! would be great to see him there and maybe Sly!!

    any other shouts?

I want Pam to come back. Knowing the character, she would want to return to make sure he's really dead.

Other family/former family members, including Gary & Val, Lucy, Ray, Donna, and Jenna would be nice. Maybe they can bring their children.

Former business associates, such as Marilee Stone and Holly Harwood would be good.

It would be nice if Callie showed up with she and Jr's son with her. He would be a teen or slightly older and Callie may not be afraid to let him know his Dallas relatives with JR out of the picture.

And JR's older son (who's name escapes me). The actor later co-starred with Patrick Duffy on Step by Step. He would be a logical return as well.

I know I am in the way minority here but I really don't care if Pam returns. Victoria obviously cut her ties with the show for whatever personal reasons years ago. And I don't see what purpose Pam would serve at this point.

you see - to a point a do agree that VP cut off her ties years ago
but after larry's passing it would be good to see a few of the original characters who are still alive to make an appearance
i dont expect VP to be back on Dallas full time - but a few episodes would be nice

but Punk Anderson the good old oil baron would be good and so would any of the old cartel members who are still around!

I'd love to see everyone who knew&loved(and hated J.R.)to come back and pay their respects.
    Knowing that's most likely not going to happen here's my wish list of folks coming back for the funeralonna Krebbs Dowling,Ray Krebbs,Gary&Valene Ewing,Abbey Fairgate,Katherine Wentworth,Leslie Stewart,Marilee Stone,Holly Harwood(that's got to be one of the best soap names ever lol)Cliff Barnes,Afton Cooper,Lucy Ewing,Mitch Cooper,Carter McKay,Sly Lovegren(we know she'll be there;YEA!)Serena Wauld(the high class call girl),James&Vanessa Beumont,Jenna Wade,Dusty Farlow,Dora Mae,Kendall Chapman,Teresa&Raul,Michelle Stevens,Peter Richards lol,Mavis&Punk Anderson(though their RL ages might not permit),Angelic Nero(I don't believe she ever existed though I can't remember if she was on pre-dream or not),Rose McKay,Dr.Elby(maybe there for emotional support for Sue Ellen),Alan Beam,Liz Craig,Fenton Washburn,&Sally Bullock.
Now I know this is long list but as I say it's my wish list. If I had my druthers anyone&everyone J.R. Ewing ever crossed paths with(positively or negatively)would be at this funeral. J.R. Ewing was a larger than life force to be reckoned with. I'd like to see a large grand funeral that reflects that. However since I have no sway over who will&who won't be onscreen I can only hope tptb do something that appropriately reflects&respects who J.R. was.
