Dallas Should Bring Back Barbara Eden and Susan Lucci!

I think the Dallas reboot could use some divas to spice up the show a little and give Sue Ellen some competition or rival. I remember Barbara Eden on the show when it she was reunited with Hagman. Also, Susan Lucci played a Sheila Foley as well, and she could have an affair with Bobby or have an interest with Ewing Oil.

Honestly, while I like both actresses, and it was nice to see Barbara Eden and Larry Hagman reunited, I didn't care for either character, so I would prefer not to see them again. JMHO.

I respectfully disagree with ya YRFANATIC.

Both Lucci and Eden are superb actresses, however, their characters on Dallas were horrendous. Terrible.
I'd rather see Holly Harwood or Sly or Marilee Stone than either Shelia or LeeAnn.

Also, Michelle Stevens killed Susan Lucci's character of Sheila Foley/Hillary Taylor as revenge for Sheila Foley killing April....Michelle went to jail for the crime.....Cliff got her out and this is how he managed to assume control of Ewing Oil at the end of the show.....whereas Michelle had the majority of shares in the company by then.

I would like the new show to stick to the well-written drama that it is now....some of the characters and storylines of the last three or four seasons of Dallas involved stunt casting and were relatively 'campy'....Lucci and Eden both fall into the 'campy' category for me....

There are many characters I would like to see return.....

Donna Culver....as part of the Texas Energy Commission whereas Ewing Energies is coming back into business...
Pam Barnes Ewing...as an anonymous backer for her son, Christopher....
Gary Ewing.....as a potential love interest for Sue Ellen....

I also wouldn't mind finding a 'long-lost' relative on the Southworth side that challenges Bobby's ownership of Southfork by challenging Aaron Southworth's will that left Southfork to Elllie....I could see a storyline based on an event from the past cropping up where Jock manipulated Aaron to leave the ranch to Ellie rather than Garrison (her brother) before Aaron died....

I've been a Susan Lucci fan since the late 70s but I didn't enjoy her on Dallas one bit! I've never been so pleased to have a character killed as I was when Shelly shot Sheila. As much as I love Barbara Eden I hope to never see Lee Ann De La Vega again on Dallas.
