I will miss it so much but glad its over for so many reasons... SPOILERS!

Ok so I loved Gossip Girl not only the show but the books but come on the last season was terrible. The worst part they knew it was ending before hand and they shove in two new characters who don't give us anything new, focus way to much on trying to show they are all grown up. IMO they should have had the five year jump at the start of the season because that way we could get a feel for how these characters grow. Dan should not have been GG but I understand why they would make it him. They really should not have made the reveal but the network tried to go all Pretty Little Liars who is A (even before that show came out) with a character who really should remain anonymous. Blair and Chuck that's ok with me, Georgina becoming one of them instead of pure evil that's ok with me. Chair's child was extremely adorable and well cast. I know a million people hate the end and clearly they watched the Desperate Houswives finale because that was just stealing right there but it worked better in this show I think.

I think that the finale was very fitting... loved that Georgina and Jack ended up together! Sort of disappointed at the use of the people that came back for the finale... i.e. Jenny, Eric, Juliet, etc. Kristen Bell cracked me up!

It was like watching a last minute Christmas shopper scramble for whatever they can give and whatever the stores had available. The finale was about what I expected, slapped together at the last minute. I'm not a Blair and Chuck fan(I like Blair and Dan) but if I were, I would feel royally screwed over. I know they love each other but if I didn't know any better I would say they got the quickie wedding to keep from testifying against each other for not lifting a finger to help Bart. I'm glad they straighten Dan out so that the show didn't end with him being hated by everyone but I thought he had a plan. If his plan was to reveal he was gossip girl that's kind of a letdown too. Dan & Serena getting together at the end was fine. Overall it just seemed everyting was last minute.


Sidenote: Could they pimp the new show in GG's timeslot anymore? Looks like a GG/Sex in the City type show. Perfect for CW I guess.

I am so happy it is over. It was such a slap stick ending it was hilarious. I was a pure CHAIR fan, I really didn't care about their wedding, I was happier to see Henry at the end and it was such perfect casting of Henry.

I wished they would of slowed down and not made it so rushed. a 2 hr finale would of been better.

A two hour finale would have been much better but the first hour was so they could advertise the Carrie Diaries. Like I said they should have gone into the future during the start of the season.
