worst season of dallas

what do you think is the worst season of dallas?

season 14,to many actors were gone in my eyes,i hated the dream thing when she woke up,but i liked the whole season that she what dreamed.missed bobby,that was the one season i liked pam and donna in,the characters were writtin differently some how.hope this makes sense.

Mine would be season 11. The first season with Pam gone. I think after season 11, Dallas found it's feet again for the remainder of the series. As I watched the series from the miniseries through the last season, the only season I really detested was 11.

For me, this would be seasons 11-14. Was not happy with the way Dallas was being written throughout its final four seasons. I was saddened when Barbara Bel Geddes retired in 1990, Miss Ellie was one of my favorites.

For me, the show started going downhill when Pam left, although I still liked it and watched it religiously. I think the last season was the worst because most of the regulars were gone by then and replaced with non-Ewings whom I did not find that interesting (eg, Michelle Stevens).

The Season when they killed off April Stevens in the season premiere.
It was bad enough that Victoria Principal and Linda Gray already quit... but then April was killed off.
I think that was the last season.
The final episode of JR wanting to kil himself was awful.
However, I did like the "It's A Wonderful Life" part re: JR and seeing old favorites back.

i agree killing april was nuts,i remeber them saying she was pregant,they could have hidden the pregnacy,the show was only on what 1 more year?

I thought they had learned their lesson about killing off characters when they killed Bobby and then PD wanted to return. I guess not!

UGH, Killing April was so silly. I had heard that Sheree J. Wilson wanted to leave Dallas to concentrate on her family, however, she starred in another series within a year or so of leaving Dallas, so I'm not sure why she left. I really did love April and Bobby together, even though we didn't get them together for very long.

Well that makes more sense to why she was killed off. However, it still bothers me to this day that she was actually killed off.
The actress did go on to do a TV series. I think it was called Walker: Texas Ranger or something. I recall Chuck Norris and Sheree J. Wilson in tv promos.

am not sure really which season was the worst, but it would have to be later seasons after main characters left the show like BBG, Linda Gray and VP

i agree with July Baby about characters like Michelle who were non ewings were not that great and didnt have a good enough impact in my opinion

its a shame a lot of old characters had left the show and the dream season was the beggining of the end of Dallas
as much as having Patrick Duffy back was a bonus, the audience started to lose interest and then Dynasty started to win the ratings war

I think the final season was the worst. It's certainly the one I disliked most.

The last season. Didn't like it. Too many people were gone, too much going on that I didn't care about. So when I recently bought the show on DVD, I bought all seasons except the last.
