The Ewing Barbecue vs. The Oil Barron's Ball

Which of these big events did you look forward to the most, the BBQ or the OBB? and Why?

Wow, that's a tough one, midwest! I used to love both of them so much, along with the Dallas weddings held on SF. The BBQ had that old, down-home Texas flavor, and of course you knew s.o. was going to end up in the pool. The OBB had the glitter and glamour of all the fancy gowns, and everyone, men and women, always looked fantastic. They were two terrific mainstays of the series and I can't honestly decide which of the two I looked forward to more - so I didn't vote - sorry!!!

they were both great,the oil barens ball was always exciting and so wasnt the bbq, but the ball they would all be dressed up and try to do there best to get along and everytime they fight,like when suellen met callie,or when cliff bit jr.it was hard to chose but I guess the ball was it for me,even though I did pick it was hard to choose

Thanks from me too Shelly for the 'too tough to choose' option! Great question midwest, as BOTH were wonderful and filled with tons of action and always lots of fun to watch. .....I liked them both!!

I love the ewing bbq great stuff at that and I heard the food was pretty good too

Agree with OP, it is truly too hard to choose between the Ewing Barbecue and the Oil Barron's Ball. Both provided many memorable moments over the years and had their own unique aspects. Fun to find out what awaited at the barbecue and what each character wore to the fancy ball.

very very tough one - i enjoy both! but we havent seen a proper oil barons ball in a while!
