Adelle !!

Recent article came out from the actress playing Adelle saying she has filmed her last two episodes and that she has passed on the show. She sounded quite bitter as well saying she didnt understand why Adelle cant play a ghost that comes back to haunt Richard and Averys mother saying "Denny and Meridiths mother get to come back all the time why not me". She's also not happy that her death makes way for Richard to move on with "the other woman".

Wow, what a shame. I really like her and liked her & Richard together; was sorry they went the route of alzheimers with her. Do you know where this article is; would like to read it.

Thanks chrsnck - I'm sure I will need my kleenex on hand watching that. I first saw Loretta Devine as a school teacher in a series that I just can't remember the name of ... and really liked her in that as well.

The actress who plays her has come into the place I work at a Houston airport. My friend recognized her and tried to say hi but instead was rude back and tried to hide who she was after. From this article and that incident sounds like she's quite a diva. I'm glad Richard will get to move on because I like him and Avery's mom much better than Adelle.

Its funny how things can be perceived by different people. I read the same article and got the impression that the actress was joking about the whole being a ghost and haunting Richard stuff. Yet some think she was being bitter, I guess this is just more proof that people need to be careful what they say in the press, because even when their joking it can come across by some that they are bitter and angry.

That's exactly how I read it as well, glad it wasn't just me; in fact wondered what OP was talking about. But a good example of how the written word can be perceived differently.
