    RIP Larry Hagman.....RIP JR Ewing

I am so saddened by waking up this news this morning that I"m almost sick. To think, the world has lost our JR Ewing. What are we going to do without that wicked and sometimes evil character? What is the new Dallas that I absolutely love as much as the original going to do without him? What is Bobby and Sue Ellen and John Ross going to do without him? ..... I'm so saddened for so many, like Larry's family, his wife, Patrick Duffy, and Linda Gray. I'm so sad this morning.

Sad, but not really surprising. He lived a hard life. I read Linda and Patrick were by his side at the end. RIP to one of the greats.

I was so saddened by the news this morning as well. He was larger than life. I was glad to know that Linda Gray & Patrick Duffy were friends to him in real life and there at the end according to the above. RIP Larry, thanks for the memories, and condolences to his family and friends.

I was saddened to learn about the passing of Larry Hagman yesterday evening. It was comforting to know Linda and Patrick were there for him.

Over the years, my family has enjoyed his roles on "Dallas" and "I Dream of Jeannie." He will be dearly missed. My condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Larry along with the cast and crew of Dallas.

This is such very sad news. Although we knew he was battling ilness, I still feel stunned at this news, I guess because I wish it weren't true..... Oh my heart goes out to Larry Hagman's family-all of his loved ones, and to so very many of his fans who adored him as JR-and as Major Nelson too. Dallas won't ever be the same wtihout him-but at least we all got to see JR/LH reall ROCK as JR in season one of the return of Dallas the series. I'm glad that Mr. Hagman got to play JR again after so many years-as I've read he loved the role. Many Blessings and deep gratitude to the unique, talented Larry Hagman.

RIP to Larry Hagman-he is much missed, and honestly I can hardly think of another celebrity death so far that has affected me more. He was one of those characters and actors that we felt close to even if we had never met him. The memories he left are priceless, and his legacy is huge. He was the central epic character in a huge epic story while also being an awesome individual in real life, a rare combination.

I hope to see a good tribute to both Larry and JR on the new show, no doubt. I don't have much to say right now on whether or not I think the show should go on beyond that and the end of the season without him-but I definitely look forward to seeing his final performances as JR next year, it will be a very bittersweet thing to say goodbye that way, but nonetheless fitting; he spent his final months having fun with his friends and re-playing his iconic claim to fame, few could ask for a better time at the end I think.
