I got the feeling that neither Kelly or Val thought they were going to make it. I'm so happy for them. I had to laugh at FC's post about not liking Val hugging and kissing on Kelly every chance he got and that it might bother viewers and I'M HELL TO THE NO.

(It's still early evening for me in LA-lol) THANK YOU all once again for the great posts and that I can now yet again-enjoy the show, in a few hours, knowing Ms.Kelly is safe!! She did so great last night-TENS would have been fair-imo-but she's on next week so I'm happy. ...................Kristina-I wanted to comment on a really great post you made last night and I can't find it, You stated that Kelly listens to the judges advice/critisism-and uses it to her advantage to improve, I love that you said that! It's the action of a true professional to do this-no matter what the field-from dancing to any of the preforming arts-and beyond that into life.... So Thank you Kristina. ........I see Giles will not be on next week-he really tried hard, but I didin't think he was as good as say Kelly-or a few otheres. and who was the other one eliminated? .......Thanks to everyone, once again, I's so cool to have this board so I can learn who will be on----or not-that from someone who avoids soap spoilers- but this is different for me...... Can't wait to see the show!!

-----------Love your honesty, always, Dale. : ) ....I too don't watch DWTS as a rule-(but loved seeing JR Martinez dance-so wonderfully-and win! He really deserved it!-imo-so to HOORAY JR!!) ..... I've danced most of my life-still do-ballet is my love . I understand that ratings are always the name of the game on any primetime show-but I don't like the blatant 'mis-scoring' when someone is amazing and gets lesser marks-and then someone who's just not so good-gets very high markes------that 's just not for me(because it's not it fair) ..........On anoter topic: I wanted to also apoplogize that I can't answer posters on one post-this feature does not work on my computer-so PLEASE, (dear mods!! : ) ) understand that I have to write individual posts-to comment on other posts I feel like adding my thoughts to....... Now-to get a light meal ready and sit back and really enjoy the show !!! KM is a beautiful, passionate dancer, so BRAVO to her for making it yet again this week!!

Yay Kelly is safe!! Very happy and relieved. And I don't much mind that Gilles was sent home. I like Apollo and Emmit better anyway.

So thinking about the fan vote going forward, Kelly could actually be in pretty decent position. Because it's possible that big Olympic fans split their votes between Shawn and Apollo and Cowboys fans split their vote for Emmit and Melissa, but Kelly doesn't have to split her vote with anybody!

On the other hand, there are now just two men left and three women left, so odds are at least one woman is going home next week. And that also could bode well for Kelly, given that it's likely that she and Shawn and bigger fanbases than Melissa (though I really like Melissa and if Kelly doesn't win it all, I'd be totally cool with Melissa winning).

But that's for next week. For now...congrats again to Kelly and Val!

I was so sure it was going to be Emitt or Apolo- never Gilles but...I am good with anyone leaving who isn't Kelly. I am excited for Kelly's flamenco that is a strong dance for her though the surfer part has me worried

I'm worried about the surfer part too, and I thought they said something early on about it being "Michael Jackson" week. If so, I would have rather she did a Lindy Hop which she would be great at. If they are doing all this stuff to Michael Jackson I don't like the idea. It's great that they are doing new dances. They don't also need to make them weird.

Yes he is loving it and very grateful to Kelly. This has given him a chance to build a fan-base of his own. I read that he is doing a cameo on GH that will be broadcast on Dec. 10. I can't wait to see how they write him in.

Doesn't bother me a bit. If you're going to have someone hugging and kissing on you it might as well be Val.

Shawn deserved to be scored poorly. That was not a samba. Period. And secondly, sleaze act?! Lol. Not really, and to top it off she doesn't do the choreographing.

-------------I so agree kimzimfan-that was NOT a samba that shawn and her partner did. I understand that this is not a technical dance contest, and basic rules are bent for entertainment purposes, but..... there is a limit to that-imo, or should be. A samba should at least resemble and look like a samba-in a perphial way!!

Just throwing this out there but now that both Maks and Peta have been eliminated, I suspect all of Maks' fans will be voting for Val!!! That has to help too, right? Also I've seen a vid of Gilles on yt telling people to vote for KELLY before he was even eliminated lol! I think if his fans saw that-- they might switch to voting for Kelly too!! Not to mention they were both actors and now Kelly is literally the ONLY one left who doesn't have some sort dancing experience and isn't an athelete might work to Vally's favor too! I am starting to really think Vally can make it to the finals

Melissa DOES has the fact that she is literally the only one left who hasn't won on her side and Tony hasn't won either. So they could be the couple that people really start to vote for. IDK

I must admit, I wasn't surprised that Gilles went home. While I think he has a dwts fanbase he doesn't seem to have the base fanbase like all the other couples have at this point. Whether it's olympics fans, soap fans, football fans, etc.

Shawn does indeed break the rules...............While I won't keep complaining about how I don't like a certain dancer's personality (and constantly.....), I don't think that's very nice at all......... What I will comment on is that I think it's so unfair that Shawn and Derek have broken the rules that have been strictly enforced on this show-up until this season for these two contestants.........A good friend of mine is an avid lover of DWTS's, and has watched every season. She's told me that everyone who's done lift's-as Shawn always does-has been called out, and penalized in their score. .....So it bothers me that the judges ignore Shawn's gymnastic lifts, as well as her feet being off the groud-in a technical way that breaks the judges rules-which also had been strictly enforced by Carrie Ann especially-with points are taken off of scores when this has occured, over the years. ......Just wanted to get that off of my mind!! ......I really admire Kelly Monaco for taking her work seriously!! Gee-maybe this's why she is so successful in all of her endeavours!! ....At GH fan events, I've read people say how much fun she is and how she interacts with fans, and is lots of fun. ......So to constantly read posts where she is called out for being 'too serious', and compared to another dancer's ""on screen" personality-well it's far from fair-imo. ......I really hope KM wins-as her dancing improves every week-due to diligence and very hard work-and she CAN dance-with passion!! But I also wish the other contestants's the best of luck .....but still want Kelly to win.

I agree K. I'm no dancer but the thing I notice between Kelly and Shawn, especially in these last dances, Kelly has beautiful leg movement where Shawn moves her legs more piston like.

-------------Great point Ellen Sophie, I so agree with you That really makes the difference between a good dancer and a great one. One can do all of the steps/moves 'technically' perfect, yet if there is no natural flow and grace, it makes all the difference in the world, visually!! ......watching dance is so much more enjoyable when it appears to be effortless, graceful and and the moves have a natural flow happening. .......... I've never seen KM dance before (didn't see the season she won-or any other of DWTS!! -except for JR Martinez dancing and happily winning. : ) ) , but I am so impressed by KM's dancing-she looks like she is really enjoying herself-which is another thing that adds to the beauty of dance.

I hope this does happen, but I know a lot of fans would only vote for their favs and once they werer gone they would stop voting. I hope Maks rallies for his brother it would be so awesome to see Kelly in the final three. I am hoping for an all girl finals.
