JR and Sue Ellen was my favorite couple on original Dallas actually. So yeah! I would want them to get back together. Maybe not marriage, but "officially dating" would be nice.
yes jr and sullen dating,and harris could try to do something to her like trying to get her to drink again jr would go nuts,of course jr got her to drinking on the old dallas but in his eyes that was a different story.

ITA with you July. I think Sue Ellen will always be vulnerable to JR and his charms, no matter how successful Sue Ellen becomes or how many men are in her life.

I say no....if she wants to 'use' him to get something she needs, then fine, turnabout is fair play, but nothing lasting for them....SueEllen has come WAY too far ahead to get back together with J.R......

I am always falling for the "impossible" couples with problems. On any show. I don't care much for the perfect couples because on TV, that is just boring. I like couples who can really fight, but still keep the chemistry going. Or even get better chemistry as they spar against each other. I think JR and Sue Ellen set that trend for me, as it was (I believe) the first non-children's programme I got hooked on.

I agree with you that Sue Ellen has come a long way. But, as I said above, I think she's still vulnerable where JR is concerned. If charm and sweet-talk don't work, he can always resort to blackmail. I think it's more likely that JR will use Sue Ellen to get what he wants than it is for Sue Ellen to use him. He still has connections, as he said, in the State House, which I can see him using to get her elected governor, w/o her knowing about it. Then he'll show up at her office, after she's elected, to let her know how she got there. I wouldn't put it past him to blackmail her into giving him what he wants, whether it's herself and a relationship or drilling rights somewhere that's banned. And he does have plenty of skeletons from her closet he can use against her if she refuses. JMHO.
yes great idea I could see this happening,I dont think suellen would use jr,shes loved him for to long,suellen wouldnt blackmail jr,look how she made that movie to expose him ,then she never showed it to, only to him.it was like the time she cheated on jr with cliff she only hurt hereself,i think shes learned not to mess with jr
