They are just for the fact that they are Dallas, however, I didn't care for either of them.

I actually liked the movies,maybe it was just seeing them again,if you watch them just remember that the new show doesnt include them.Its like the old dallas,I watched up to season 10 then went back to 8 and then watched 10,to take the dream season out,my memory loves to mess me up,so if sometimes things dont make sense that i say just ignore me.lol.
