A co-worker told me this morning that it wasn't on last night due to Hurricane Sandy coverage.
However, I do agree with you about the "good old days" of programming once a new season started!
Was there a new PP episode last night? I looked for it on abc.com (suckiest site ever to watch eppies on) and can't find it. Did we get a new one last night or did they put it off again?
It's gotten so hard to enjoy shows anymore when they put out 15 repeats or show something else and then occasionally gives us a new episode. Whatever happened to the good old days when a new season was on, they all played from September till May with new ones consistently until the season cliffhanger? Hell, we don't even cliff hangers anymore. Sorry to be such a downer. Just got a lot on my plate right now and I wanted to see a new show to enjoy. Can't even seem to get that lately!!!
Thanks

Ahhh thanks! Well I guess I gotta understand about the hurricane thing.... At least it wasn't due to politics!!!!!
Gosh I miss those days when you only had to wait a week, and you toughed it out during the summer and the anticipation building up to September. They do not make TV like that anymore!
Indeed it was pre-empted by a special 20/20 on hurricane coverage. Frankly as someone that just went through the hurricane, I thought their rush to make a special out of it was crass and insensitive. People are still in the middle of dealing with the effects, and they're summarizing it like it happened a year ago.
ICAM - in fact one show that I watch (can't remember which) had their premiere episode, and the very next week was a re-run - and have no clue why. This is not unusual these days. But it never used to happen - as you said, we watched from September to May - no interruptions - except maybe around Christmas hiatus.
Thoughts are with you Cheryl. I had no idea they made a special out of it, I was assuming regular coverage/updates etc - but if that was the case, don't blame you for feeling the way you do. The bestof luck in getting back to some semblance of "normal" life whenever that may be for you.
