    Well what an eventful episode...

First, I couldn't believe how nasty Ivy and Laura Kathleen were being to Anthony Ryan and Uli respectfully. I wanted to come through the TV and slap LK when she kept making comments about Uli just being a stylist and not a designer. Both of them (Ivy and LK) should've went home, lol.

Now the dresses... I didn't think Anthony Ryan's was the winner. I much preferred Ulis (who knew) and I also thought Joshua's was nice too. If I had picked the winner it would've been Uli (yes, blind spot is in full effect).
I hated, HATED, HATED Emilio's dress. I thought it was the worst of the lot. Maybe if the fabric was different I would've liked it... I'm not sure.

So glad my girl is still in it, my second fav is Joshua.. and he needs to step it up next week for sure.

I cannot STAND Ivy. Mean girl. Mean.
Uli and Anthony Ryan didn't seem to have any problem complimenting competitors, in their interviews, which I find impressive. I found it amusing when someone interviewed that Laura K was so much better that Uli on construction, and yet Laura's construction was quite lacking on those trousers. I much prefer Uli over Laura K. I didn't care at all for Ivy's dress.

Kinda liked Laura K before this week. But her trousers were bad and not really 1920. Bye Laura!

Both Ivy and LK were nasty this past week. I wish both of them could've went home.

Again this week, my two favorites are Uli and Anthony Ryan. For me, it would've Uli, but it's close.

Joshua and Ivy were horrendous this week. I got a feeling Joshua will leave next week, which I'll be very sad about.

Just happy the other nasty little girl is gone!

Katie Holmes next week! Dawson's Creek, sigh....

leehaven... From your lips to God's ears! I think she should've won over Jeffery in season 3 (I think it was 3), Uli is by far my favorite designer ever on PR. I really liked Melissa from last season, as well.

^Uli ABSOLUTELY should have won over Jeffery!Just like Mondo's AllStar season was HIS season, I believe this AllStar season is Uli's..... because Anthony Ryan is just filler for me. Filler in the sense that he's the only other "consistent" one that has challenged Uli from week to week, but he's no winner. I don't care for his designs. There's nothing innovative or original about them, but he hardly ever gets brain farts. Uli and Anthony Ryan are either one and two on most weeks, so it's pretty much going to be the two of them going for the prize and I can't see him winning over her. White on white on white allday is fine with me as long as it's popping and Uli's designs has never disappointed from her original showing til now.

Oh, and I'm STILL party rocking because Ivy got the boot! It was a long time coming......

Uli has her own tv program called "It's Very Uli". It's on a TV network called Plumb TV. Look it up on Wikipedia...

ITA with you on all counts concerning Uli (no shocker there). I love her. Her work room ethic, how she treats people, how humble she comes across. Uli is a winner and had better win this season.

Well, I was happy with this weeks episode.
Happy that Joshua got his first win! Bravo! and Uli's dress was amazing. I cheered when Anthony Ryan came in 3rd and was OK with Emilio being safe too.

I do think that Isaac M. was right about AR's dress. The client loved it and he did exactly what she asked for, why should he be untrue to his client and himself to impress the judges.
My fav dress this week was Joshuas then Uli's, pretty much a tie there.

    Still hoping Uli wins!

^Here's my thing:........*color me "hard"*.......*throw your rocks*....... but I would have sent Emilio home. I LOVED LOVED LOVED Joshua's dress; I liked Uli's dress, but I felt it was a cake walk for her because the lady made it easy for Uli by saying she liked the "Uli dress"; Anthony Ryan didn't know how in the world he was going to HIDE those jugs on his model!! It's funny how she wanted to wear a strapless number, but YET, she wanted to "hide".

.... and now, Emilio.... I wanted to barf on that dress. The only good about it was the color and the model actually picked the color YELLOW to be her color. What did HE do?? Made a dress that looked so 101, it was embarrassing!! Why that style?? Why a dress at all????? He could have made a wrap dress, a pant suit, a jumper..... why did he do that simple-as-one-two-three pattern and STILL not execute it professionally?? I don't know why he's there anymore.

ok, Joshua did good....doesn't mean I like him!!!

Emilio's dress was badly sewn, it puckered on the sides and I didn't think she looked good at all!!

Uli's dress was good, but AR''s lady looked worse with the DARK color on her boobs. Wouldn't the darker color look better ANYWHERE else BUT THE BOOBS????

    I HATED Emilio's dress this week, I didn't care for Joshua's either.
Uli's was OK and Anthony Ryan's was pretty good.
None of them "Wowed" me this week, at all.

I am happy that Uli and AR are both going to the finale next week, just wish Joshua was going with them.

    GO ULI!

I'm not mad at Emilio's dress. In fact, I think a lot of Emilio's shining moments during the season were more due to his model rather than his designs. Emilio has the one of the best models ever on Project Runway imo. Talk about a muse.... her skin and body is flawless and she owns the runway. Too bad she probably won't be the winning model because I doubt very seriously if Emilio will get the W. I must give him his props after last weeks disaster. He redeemed himself and it was smart to allow the beautiful fabric to speak for itself and focus on the execution of the design. He didn't lose his head and it paid off.

and speaking of fabric.... What was Joshua smoking to marry those two fabrics together?? It looked all rummage-sale random. But guess what??... It was better than Uli's. That's why they judges came up with that arbitrary design-off. Joshua had higher scores than Uli this week, but they (perhaps rightly, yet unfairly) wanted to find a way to put Uli on top and Joshua's redesign was even better and the judges were left more befuddled. I get it though. Uli has been on fire all season and too bad she waited until THIS challenge to have a brain fart. Like a prize fighter winning every round and getting knocked out in the final seconds of the end of the fight. Fortunately for all who cares, the judges found a way to not rob Uli of her opportunity. I'm not going to cry "foul!!!", but I'll whisper it.

I agree that it seemed as though the judges didn't want to eliminate a strong competitor like Uli, but didn't think Josh did any worse than Uli, so they decided to do that mini competition to prove to themselves that Uli deserved the win, but it backfired on them. In the end, they went with Uli...big surprise. I'm not sure I like having the final three include Emilio over Josh. It's probably just that I feel more of an emotional connection to Josh. He wears his heart on his sleeve, so I really feel his pain in this loss.

My final "dream" final three were Uli, Anthony Ryan and Joshua. I've never been that impressed with Emilio.

  23. #58
^I agree with both of yous. Josh DOES wear his heart on his sleeve and he's very meticulous. Where I think he's weak is his taste level. He can be over the top and although certain aspects of his designs are outstanding, generally, there's another aspect that makes it go WHOMP WHOMP. i.e.... the beautiful blouse with the ugly shorts. Even with that, I prefer him over Emilio; however, I prefer them both over Anthony Ryan. I hate it that he's so consistent because that is what has gotten him to the finals. At least Josh and Emilio try to be creative and original. Everything Anthony Ryan has designed I either have it in my closet or in my donation bin waiting for the consignment store to pick it up. I haven't once been impressed.

Wow, tonight's finale really surprised me. I really expected such a different outcome. What did y'all think?
Another surprise was when they hauled in all the ex-contestants and told each of the three remaining designers that they could pick any one of them to help them with their work and when Anthony Ryan picked Josh, Josh told him he wouldn't be a good pick, due to being so tired and his head not being in a good place just yet. I've never seen an ex-contestant turn down the job, when picked, and it wasn't because he was picked last or anything like that, because he was the very first pick. You could see that he was still stinging from his elimination. Anthony Ryan took the rejection pretty well, but it was kinda sad.

  26. #61
^Yeah, that was real chicken-drop of Josh to turn Anthony Ryan down. Not that I was crying for AR, because of all the designers he was my least favorite, but sportsmanship was not on deck. Josh's character kind of took a hit...

I'm surprised that Uli took third. Her reliance on accessories really did her in this time. I do think her collection was more refined than the other two's; however, it's hard to think "refined" when faux fir is so abundant.

Emilio????? I'm not going to comment because imo he only deserved second place behind Uli because Anthony Ryan didn't deserve that win.

I, for one, certainly thought that the outcome would be different. Anyone who knows me knows I wanted Uli to win, however, since she didn't I am glad that AR did. I wasn't an Emilio fan at all.
All 3 collections weren't all that good, if you ask me. I definitely didn't think AR's was the best, however, I wasn't impressed with the lot of them.

I was saddened by Joshua's actions, but at least he was honest...

Why only give a few days to create a collection? That was crappy!

Uli got robbed. 3rd place? Really????

AR ' s collection looked like cheerleading outfits with all the color-blocking. It looked cheap and had no design to it! They were ALL THE SAME!

Uli 's group was just beautifully designed. IMO these judges were on crack!
