Conundrum - the final episode of the Original series

i was watching this yesterday and it was great to see how life would have been if there was no JR Ewing!

now they showed JR what Bobby's life would have been like without him - and it was bad..but they're was no mention of Pam!! or Christopher - instead he has 3 sons to another lady
now i was aware once reading that Victoria Principal declined a chance to appear in the final episode - and said that she would only make an appearance
if it was definitely the last and final episode ever ever ever ever ever! which they could not guarantee her ... apparently

but they should have mentioned Pam at least! because it doesnt mean that if JR was not born that he would never have met PAM! or have adopted Christopher!

does that make sense?

and ...has anybody else picked up on anything else in this episode which wasnt quite right

I found it funny that cliff became president,callie was in a abusive marriage,like jr wasnt enough,kristen was a hooker.believe it or not the world is a better place with jr in the world,we can all learn from jr ewing.............

I found it funny that cliff became president,callie was in a abusive marriage,like jr wasnt enough,kristen was a hooker.believe it or not the world is a better place with jr in the world,we can all learn from jr ewing.............

So after it aired, they cancelled the show! I wonder what the writers had planned for season 14??

and just to add between the series finale and the Dallas 2012 series...there were the 2 movies - JR returns and the War of the Ewings

It has been said the creators/writers of the new show aren't going off of those two movies.

thanks for that - i did not know that the new creators/writers were not going to go off the 2 movies
but i dont see how it would effect this new Dallas anyhow - cant think there was anything in the movies that
had would have concern storyline wise for the new Dallas

Yup, own them both. Not a fan of them though, I like the fact that the movies aren't being used. I like that Season 14 was the end of the run until Season 15 (Dallas 2012) started up.
