I got one;
1st person- It isnt right to call someone names,
2nd person said- you did it
1st person says- yeah but were thicker than thieves
I got no idea on that one victor. Most of the time I remember the quote, just not who said it. This one... I don't remember it at all, lol... My poor memory!
I got one, maybe someone will get one of ours!
"You don't know the meaning of the word friendship. From now on I'll be better off dealing with my enemies!"
So, we got two on the table. Anybody got a guess for either victor's or mine?
did james say it to jr?
mine was john ross calling someone a bad name and he said to jr,you called aunt pam that and jr said yeah but me and your aunt pam are as thick as theives,
I had to laugh when jr said that
Nope not James... But it was said to JR.
I sort of remember the scene that you are speaking of now with JR & John Ross.
Great Job July!
It sure was, during the Leslie Stewart time frame. She put an ad in the paper that Ewing Oil was ecology friendly and would do anything to stop those who ravage the land. lol, Jock and JR were so ticked. Leslie really got to JR, Flannery was great in that role. I just hated the way that storyline ended, I need closure so Flannery needs to make an appearance on Dallas 2012,!
heres a new one
Sue Ellen would have had a normal life if it weren't for two big mistakes... She married you twice!!
"I don't know what got into you today, woman, but that's about the worst dinner I've ever had, Miss Ellie."
This one's not a quote:
Who ordered an omelet with six eggs to impress Sue Ellen?
Yes, it was Dusty Farlow. I always remembered that scene (except for the eggs being scrambled -lol) - I thought it was so funny!
I remember Jordan Lee saying something like that after the Asian oil fiasco. As far as Leslie Stewart is concerned, I was glad to see her leave. I never cared for her much. She was too cold and calculating for my taste, without the charm and humor of JR. For me, after they had sex, it was time for her to leave. (Closure achieved!) JMHO.
Here's a new one:
"Sue Ellen, Lord love her, she certainly doesn't lack for ambition!"
Miss Ellie to Pam! Just saw that episode, it was during Ellie's cancer.
That's right, midwest. I still have the image in my mind of Ellie and Pam watching incredulously as Sue Ellen, looking very regal, descended the big staircase at SF, anticipating becoming the "Queen" of the ranch. That was a funny scene!
Here's another one:
"This one's for cousin Lucy, this one's for Uncle J.R.", etc.
"I just realized, I've been going the wrong way down a one way street."
Was it one of Sue Ellen's later boyfriends, maybe Dr. Kenderson or Peter Richards? Or Don Lockwood?
