LET ME CLEAR MY THROAT!!!.... Just so my point is understood, allow me to share something about myself: I am 100% woman. I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE men and everything they bring... I love big, macho, muscular, burly men.... men that push and pull strongman apparatus, gorilla juiceheads and the like, roughnecks, etc. This is what I love, this is what I married. I have NEVER EVER EVER even thought about being closer than 3' to another female (other than my mother) unless we are scrapping. I am NOT attracted to females in any shape or form.... I can barely stand myself!

BUT!!!! If I was FORCED to kiss another girl, it would HAVE to be Amanda and it would have HAD to be whilst she was on that stage and it would have HAD to be whilst she sang Dream On.. That was probably the sexiest performance I have ever witnessed and by golly, it was a female performing. Marry me quick, Amanda, before I snap out of it!

As for the others, I will be nice and not talk about which I did not like.

Adam's team: AMANDA!!, Bryan Keith, and Loren Allred.

Blake's team: I liked Terry Mac, Cassandra Pope, Michaela Paige, and JULIO CASTILLO... I actually cried on Julio's song.

Surprisingly Blake let his pet go. What choice did he have though after the voters showed they weren't feeling her like he is.

So sad to see De'Borah go. Christina did her NO favors with that song choice, but she sure did sing the pants off that song! This should not be the last we see of De'borah.

After Corey did that George Michael's jam to pieces, I was not surprised CeeLo saved him. Corey is doing it big! Reminds me of Adam Lambert (but without the tongue.)

^You may be right, Jeff, but I believe it's a little of both. Yes, the singers may come in with their selections but I think the coaches can and should help them more with how to sort out the production/arrangement of that selection.

Last night was Dez's night indeed!! Perfect song and production.... That boy is foine and he knows it!

Cody is SO entertaining!!

Nicholas is a so REAL and I root for him so hard. I hope the party-peoples are feeling him like it appears they do.

I appreciated Trevin switching it up, but don't fix what not broken.

^Seee, Jeff!.... It seems that both the coaches AND the contestants have a hand in the selections. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing. Too many cooks in the kitchen kind of thing.

Although Monday's show was really good & all the singers did a good job, i hated to see Sylvia & cool Brian leave. But like some of the other singing shows this show too is a bit of popularity contest as far as who goes home. You either have to be a coaches fav or fan fav & if you're both you will stay in the competition longer. America seems to vote more on personality than who can sing. Don't get me wrong this is a very talented group, but the best singer rarely wins. Anywho atlease my favs are still in for now anyway.

Whew... that was close, Trevin! No more Whitney Houston, Mkay?? GO TEAM CEELO, although you had to drop Cody off before the end of the line. Too bad we STILL have to hear Christina's mouth although she no longer has a dog in the fight. If Dez was on ANY other team, he would have gone farther.... Christina and her BIG mouth/ego hosed his chances on this show; however, I can see him shining so bright in future. That face can not be wasted!! I, of course, like his voice as well, but you know what I mean...

Ceelo and Kermit were SO GOOD!! It's NOT easy being green.

hum i know there were 8 & 2 had to go, but i thought it should've been 1 girl leaving & 1 guy. For me Melanie or Cassidy (or both) can leave next week. Although lately both are far better than they were before. I don't think either should end up in the top 4 (JMO). my pick for top 4 Amanda & the 3 guys.

Believe it or not, I like Christina A LOT... it's her big mouth I don't like. I hate it when we get to see them in rehearsal and she's ALWAYS singing! Sheesh... I hate it when the judges give their critique and she's ALWAYS talking about herself. Mi Mi Mi Mi or ME ME ME ME is all she's about.

^^I agree, jc, Amanda and the three guys would be perfect. Cassidy is good, but she's not anything original. Melanie is original, but she sings the same song every week. I'm actually NOT feeling Terry any more either, but I can stomach him more than Melanie or Cassidy.

Nick's first song: Song choice sucked. I like this song, I like Nick, just not on one plate.
Nick's second song: I felt it. I got it. However, I'm concerned the party-people's didn't feel it or get it.

Tonight's show was tricky. In my opinion, only Amanda was stellar on both song choice and performance. As far as the others, they could survive on either performance or fanbase, so no telling what's going to happen.

He'sAliveToday i pretty much agree with you. Terry really kinda never completely worked for me, but i still can take him better than i can Cassidy.. Trevin & Amanda both did great last night. Although i really like Nicholas, he is way cool. But i'm starting to wonder if keeping the same vibe week to week might hurt him, same as Melanie. Terry has a cool comfortable vibe, but he can do the rock thing. I have a feeling Melanie may leave tonight & take Nick with her. Amanda (who can really sing) & Cassidy (who doesn't sing as well as some of the others), these two are not shy & both have lots of personality & fans. I think they will for sure be safe tonight. Right now Terry or Cassidy is a toss up for f4. I do want Amanda & Trevin in f4 along with Nick & either Cassidy or Terry.

^My thing with Terry is that I don't "root" for him. It's like he's been there (recording... touring), and he shouldn't be on the stage with raw talent. Yeah, he can sing, but so what. He's no Steve Perry.

I guess it's nice that Blake plays the "country" card with the poppish Cassidy, but I kind of resent it. The Country base is strong and he's leaning on it to take her to the top. It's what he did with last season's winner and it did the winner NO favors. As soon as he won, Country voters went in the other direction. Cassidy could probably pull off one or two "hits" in Country, but Country is soul music and it's heartfelt. That industry will eat her alive if she gets on the Grand Ole Opry stage frontin' and posin'.

I root for Melanie, but even Adam in all his creativity doesn't seem to know what to do with her originality. The same for Trevin. I root for him, but CeeLo (with ALL his creativity and wisdom) doesn't seem to know what to do with such a strong voice. I think if they were on the OTHER'S team, they would do better.

Nick... I love him! He's so handsome and no one knows it. I want to hang out with him and I adore that he knows who he is and doesn't give a rip if you don't know. I also love his voice. Why CeeLo hasn't thrown him some Michael McDonald/Doobie Brothers is beyond me... I HOPE he doesn't go...

Although Amanda has had some exposure to the industry (like Terry), I root for her because she's trying to bring something different to the stage. We probably haven't seen the likes of someone like her since Tina Turner. Amanda is more sultry; however, if needed, I believe she could grit it up.

Results show was bittersweet for me. I love both Nick and Amanda and my wish was for it to be Cassidy to take a walk. Country is DEEEEEEEP. I was both happy and sad for Nick to stay and Amanda to go. It's just not fair!!

Now, with it being STRONGLY about song choice, Ceelo MUST step it up. Overall, I believe Blake and his team have done decent jobs with song choices, but Ceelo had better snap out of believing it's in the bag.

Melanie it just never worked for me, out of the 6 i do think she should've been one to go. But Amanda, that is a shame. My only fault with Amanda is sometimes she was way loud & would do that holla thing doing some of her songs. Amanda was way better than atlease 3 of the 4 that remain. I guess now i have to root for Trevin to win.
