I could NOT believe it. When the ads had gunshots in the background, I completely expected it to be Cyrus' boyfriend (for poking into things). This is a good whodunit. It could be Hollis who is mad - First Lady made herself look suspicious when she started saying let's not go - let's go home. I LOVE this show! I cannot wait until the next episode!

She looked mighty guilty to me, she may not have known exactly what was going to go down, but I think she knew something.

I never watched a show like this before where I'm so convinced it's going to end with all of the main characters either 1) killing all of the supporting characters (David, Mr. Cyrus, Quinn et al) or 2) going to prison. I'm voting for door #2 although I could live with Huck, quizzical smile on his face, holding a snow globe with the White House inside.

I think the big question is whether Fitz knew about the voting machine fraud and the election tampering. Not that ignorance is going to help him if it all comes out. In that case, he'll be lucky to get off with resigning (vs. going to prison).

Oh man, I like Huck, I hope there is a twist somewhere and he really did not do it, but it was a great episode.

I know, we were all yelling at the TV. Now I want to know who hired him. I can't believe the evil VP is Pres now.

Now I know there has got to be some kind of plot twist, 'cause I cannot see Huck doing what he did w/o something behind the scenes going on!! WTH....the beyotch done stole the Presidency!!! I love Cyrus and I love to see him get up in people's face 'cause he does it s-o-o well, LOL. The flashback to Liv/Fitz outside on the grounds of the WH, most romantic scene in the history of tv!! Scandal is absolutely the hottest show ever!!!

I think the plot twist is that someone paid Huck to do it so since he loves killing people, he shot him. I can't see someone threatening Huck into doing it, even by threatening his girl friend, because he would just kill whoever was threatening him. I assume Olivia will be surprised to discover that Huck isn't her pet killer, to be trotted out only when she feels like it. Even a pet killer is still a killer, not just a pet.

Who paid Huck is the interesting part, because the only person who gains by this is the x-vice president, and I can't really see this as in her character. It is well within Hollis' nature to have it done, but I can't see how this benefits him. He already bought one presidency, and that was expensive, so why shoot the one he already has to take his chances with a different one. I would not be surprised if the president's wife had some advance knowledge, but I don't see any way that Fitz' being dead benefits her at all. True, she has her own political ambitions, and she would be a more sympathetic figure as a widow than a divorcee (assuming Fitz left her as soon as he was done being pres), but I think the timing is wrong for her to make a move. She still had several years ahead of her enjoying all the perks of being FLOTUS.

It was interesting to me that the reason that Olivia left the White House was that Hollis had those 6 or 7 people killed, not because of her relationship with Fitz. It's too bad that Olivia doesn't devote her considerable resources to taking care of Hollis, or even have her pet mad dog Huck take him out. Instead she spends her energy covering for him so that he can go on doing what he does, no matter how illegal or immoral.

I have to say, Houck's "girlfriend" taking out his "family" really turned me off. I understand it's reality and completely in line with the character and realities of someone in that line of work but I found it overly graphic and sick for what I consider a "soapy drama." I expect to see something like that on Criminal Minds but it really left a bad taste in my mouth. I know it's consistent to the story and makes complete sense but for me, it was over the top for the show. I'm not going to stop watching. I love the show and can't wait for its return -- just saying I wish they hadn't gone there.

Seriously? Overly graphic? More graphic than the reporter who got a scissors in his neck? Sicker than Huck taking an electric drill to someone to get information? Sicker than all of the other murders? The white house intern who was murdered for sleeping with the president? The several software developers who got a bomb at work for working on voting machine software? The contractor who was murdered for sleeping with the governor's wife & left to lie on the floor with blood everywhere & eyes open ? More graphic than the meeting of the murderers' club where someone got shot in the head in front of everyone?

The body count on this show is huge, very in line with the culture of death as entertainment. Death as a plot device. Death as a way for the main characters (Cyrus, Olivia) to get their way. I wonder if the guy at Sandy Hook Elementary ever said, as Huck is wont to say, "I enjoy killing people".

Yes, for me it was too much. I guess where my gauge is set, that pushed it. Maybe it was the kids - maybe it was that they were all complete innocents and even though it was from a distance, they were shown as nice people. The drill thing was gross but it was to a "bad guy." The scissors thing was revolting - but it didn't trigger as much of a reaction as this one did. Again, maybe it's the kids but it was bad for me. I guess I can compartmentalize a grown up getting shot differently than a family being wiped out.

Another great episode, did anyone else have to fan themselves at the end when Liv and Fritz just said hi to each other over the phone? OMG, those two are oozing with chemistry.
I felt bad for Mellie for the first time, she really put herself in a bad spot.
Love my Huck. I was happy he was allowed to capture Becky and not kill her like he said he would.

Loved last nights episode. I, too, am glad that Huck didn't shoot or take out Becky. I'm feeling a little vibe between him and Quinn. Maybe she can heal him and repair him. So glad Fitz woke up. I know she's the first lady and preggers but I wanted Mellie to take out the VP.

I'm wondering if its all really Hollis though. It seems too obvious and too easy. I think they are going to take another twist. Huck called Becky and we saw the scene with the phone number but Becky could have two phones and for all we know, Huck called the number he had for her - not the number on the paper. That number could lead to some staffer or even Cyrus.

I think Hollis is an evil creep, but I think they're going to twist it down the road. All the times Hollis has said he'd take care of things, they could end up explaining them otherwise. I know right now it seems that no one else benefits from getting rid of Fitz - everyone loses power with that VP but HOLLIS - but I'm still feeling that more twists are coming down the road. I don't think it's going to end up clearcut HOLLIS.
