Red face Can't Wait For Dallas

Just marked my calendar for Dallas. I watched the program from the 1st episode. Now you know the kids are grown. Wonder what they will be up to .

Although I've never watched an episode of either the old or new 90210...I sincerely hope that Dallas 2.0 fares as well as 90210, rather than going down the route of the Melrose Place redux......

    Very exited for June!

    I can't wait either.
I watched the original Dallas faithfully every week!
I hope this one lives up to what I am expecting.
This show is so appreciated in the days when daytime soaps are disappearing, Dallas ( a primetime soap) pops up. Can't wait!

I grew up in the 80s, so therefore I grew up with DALLAS! If this show is anything like the original it will be epic. I will be watching and I hope millions of others do as well so we can keep it going. JR, Bobby, Sue Ellen, and now the grown up versions of the young ones will surely take us all down memory lane (and make new memories as well.) CUE THE THEME MUSIC I CANNOT WAIT!!!

Anyone hear anything about KK (Cliff Barnes?) The rivalries are what made Dallas.

I can't wait for Dallas either. I remember watching growing up with my mom. That was our girl thing to do on Friday night (if i could manage to stay up that late. LOL!) watch Dallas and Falcon Crest. So, I looking forward to the next generation of Ewings doing battle over Ewing oil. I am hoping it is better than the other remakes because the characters are directly linked to the show's past with the original characters.

I was wondering if Cliff had a child with Jamie Ewing. I can't really remember for sure. I was just thinking I know the Barnes generation should also be included in the new Dallas. I just finish watching Dallas: the early years so the Barnes and Ewing fued is tied into the Ewing family in fighting as well. There is such a rich history in the Dallas saga.

The original was riveting!!My late mom&I watched the premiere episode&were hooked til the end. If the new series is a tenth as good as the original we're all in for a treat!

I have high hopes for the new one. I think it is such a natural fit for a sequel/continuation show because it was always about the different generations of a family, and we always wondered if those boys would turn out like their dads. And of course I think I am not alone in feeling Larry Hagman is just about as entertaining as characters can get as JR Ewing-the chance to see him again is just delightful to think about. Not to mention Southfork, that family feud, and all that nostalgia that comes with it-it's pretty much my most anticipated tv event ever.
