Grey's Anatomy's Mark and Lexie

I read in the new tv guide that on February 9 they babysit for Meredith&Derek and Mark's child with Callie. This should be very interesting for them. I wonder if this will be the beginning of Mark and Lexie hooking up again. At least i hope. I just glad we will get some alone scenes with them without his new girfriend.

I think it may well be. I get a very clear impression that it's not over for them. She certainly appears to be hankering after him, and shows jealousy of anyone else he's been with since they broke up. Didn't she break up with him though? Can't even remember why they broke up. Mark appears to be moving on, but not sure he's over Lexie either; he wasn't for a long time, and I suspect he's pushing himself to move on with other women.

My memory is that the breakup occurred when Mark's pregnant daughter appeared, and Mark fell in love with the idea of raising his grandchild--too overwhelming for the young Lexie, IIRC. Didn't he then have breakup sex with Callie, resulting in Sofia?

Mark and Lexie originally broke up when his daughter Sloan came on the scene and was pregnant and he wanted her to pretty much be the babies grandmother and she was only 24/25 and no where near ready to be a parent let alone be the grandmother to her much older boyfriend's daughter whom he had just met. They got back together last season and things seemed to pretty much be great between them until Callie found out she was pregnant and it was Mark's child (consolable sex with his breakup with Lexie and her breakup with Arizona.) When Mark told Lexie she blasted him for putting her in that same situaton again and left him again.

I'm not a fan of lexie. She seems more like a nurse then a doctor (not that theres anything wrong with that).Her career doesn't seem to have much direction. really all she's done is sleep with nearly all the doctors. And worse they seem to pass her around and not have any feelings for her. everyone gets their turn.

I agree about Lexie...she seems more like a patient advocate rather than a doctor. ...And it does seem like she is just being passed around and not really in any relationship.

I hope Shonda improves the writing for this show before it ends this season.

TV Guide was a bit misleading since they weren't with the girls alone. She stopped by to tell him how she felt but Avery beat her there. How about awkward since she had just been involved with Avery. I think part of why she seems more like a nurse/patient advocate is because she's a year behind the others so doesn't have to worry about the things that they do just yet. When she was with Karev I don't think they were an official couple, it was just hooking up (at least that's what I remember). Avery ended things with her because he knew she wasn't over Mark. It's not like she's the only one to hook up with or date a co-worker. They've all done it.

I thought Lexie was being an immature brat all around since she was the one after Mark from the beginning. And when things got tough (Mark's daughter showing up and babies) she bailed. Mark was good to her and good for her. You don't choose a new girlfriend over family.

My biggest thrill was when Avery chose Mark over Lexie! I think I laughed for days over that one! Even it's just a choice of specialty or just because he likes working with Mark, poor Mark got chosen! I was so proud for my McSteamy! ha ha ha!

I have to disagree, Lexie didn't sign up to become a Girlfriend, mom, Grandma all in one year. Anyone and i mean anyone would have left him a lot faster than Lexie did. She stayed with mark when his daughter showed up at his front door, Mark also totally blind sided her seeing as he told Callie that He told Lexie everything the first night they spent together. Yet he forgot to mention this? Total rewrite. But his daughter was in their home (Remember Mark said this was their home, not his, not hers but theirs.) So first i think it was kind of rude and all kind of wrong to not talk to Lexie about letting your teenage long lost daughter come into their home without talking to Lexie. But lexie let the bile down her throat and sucked it up. once Sloan started using mark as her personal ATM and was more Rude to Lexie than anyone should be not to mention Mark didn't have enough time to ask her what she thought about the situation. She did the grown up thing and broke up with him. It was hard to do, this was Lexie's first real Relationship and mark treated her like crap once Sloane/Baby Sloan were there. No one and i mean no one should be treated that way. NEW Grilfriend, at that lexie had been there for him through a lot, not to mention who was there for Mark since Season 5 and continues to be there for him?. It sure isn't his daughter.

After that mark turned into an unbearable person, She made a huge mistake, regretted it the next day and did the right thing by telling mark she slept with Alex. Mark had slept with Addison 3 or more times, yet he acted like what he did was ok since she broke up with him? Seriously that's insane. So he stopped talking to her at all. Sleeps with three women in one day, Teddy, Reed and whoever else. than decides after his fail three way that he wants Lexie back and bring up "You can have a husband, and that Sloan and the baby are gone. That just shows he never listens. this never had anything to do with Sloane or her baby, this had everything to do with mark disrespecting her.
