I think they may end up going the predictable route and use the cure on Silas- turning him human and then killing him (if they get rid of him this season). I haven't had the heart to watch any more episodes so I missed the last few, but from the sound of it they already completed the triangle so who knows what will happen with that. Whenever I try speculating for this show thinking there's more to what's going on I usually end up being wrong. lol

uhmmm, I am not really feeling Vampire Diaries anymore. With the originals leaving, Jeremy dead and then the lack of Bonnie and the horror that is Elena now.

I thought I was the only one. Those are basically the exact same reasons I'm not feeling it either.

seeing how the majority of viewers hate Elena, I don't see how the threesome can carry the show for more seasons especially if they are alienating or killing off fan favourites.

The funny thing is, Elena and the triangle are far from the reason why I watched. I actually watched despite them lol. It's kind of unfortunate loving the characters that get killed off or alienated (I think they took a huge risk doing that). Glad to know I'm not in the minority. I don't know what's going to happen once the originals leave too. It's going to be an incredibly small cast with whoever will be left over.

I love Damon but hate Delena.... Stefan has always been my favourite (I am a sucker for the dark brooding vampire types, thanks to Angel). Elena I tolerated, but I progressively have come to detest. The Bennett with has always been my favourite. I loved Alaric and his relationships with the Gilbert children and Damon. I love Caroline as a vampire, but there is very little new for her on the horizon, Tyler is gone and Klaus is getting his new show... so will they kill her off to?

I am still holding out hope that the youngest Gilbert is not really dead.

I think Elena brings everything down. There's nothing likeable about her at all. She's just there. An annoyance at times, but I usually ignore her. I can't stand Delena either! lol But when I watched I pretty much ignored them too. I'd say Stefan's my favourite out of the tri, but he's not my overall fav male character. I do love how Paul Wesley plays him though. I love Bonnie too. She's my favourite female character, I'd say, but they never really focus on her which kind of blows. I miss Jeremy like crazy and I haven't even really been watching since they killed him. I think the last epi I saw was 4x15. With all that's going on right now I haven't been interested in watching. Killing Jeremy really did it for me. They just had to kill the most interesting Gilbert.

Great show tonight! With each episode my love for Rebekah continues to grow whereas my disdain for Elena strengthens as well. I realize she lost her whole family but so has Matt and he's not going homicidal(although it could be because he's not a vampire). Turning Elena's emotions off has to be the worst idea the show has had up to date. Once again, there's no difference between her and Katerina at this point.

Meanwhile Rebekah's quest to be human was really good. Asking Matt if he thought she would make a good human, struggling with whether to save April or not, trying so hard to do the right thing all night. PLEASE GIVE HER THE CURE.

I don't know if there's anything that can ever make me enjoy Elena as a character again. I loathe her, human or vampire, emotionless or overly emotional. I just wish Damon would dump her ass already, because I love him when he's not pining after her. I also find Stefan far more enjoyable when he's not brooding about his lost love. I just wish they would kill off Elena or send her away to college and give me my girl Katherine back. She's so much more fun than emotionless Elena, who even Damon recognizes is just a straight up bitch with nothing likable about her.

I still fail to understand why they took away Elena's humanity? What's the point? She's more annoying than ever before. I don't see this as part of her journey, and I don't get what they are trying to achieve. It's not exactly great story telling here. Katherine 2.0 but not really? I don't get it.

The only part I actually loved was the Bonnie and Jeremy ("Silas") dance and the grave part. It was nice seeing him again. I miss that guy.

I'm a Delena fan but when Damon called her a bitch I laughed so hard. Finally my Damon is back. I get he's in love but come on, don't be blind.

I hate Bonnie. She is too stupid to live. I'm not sure whether she's been glamoured by Silas or not (or if that's over, or what)—either way, she's incomprehensible to me.

I'm not sure how Rebekah thinks she's going to be able to grow old, have kids, and die. Damon "killed" her as soon as she took the FakeCure. If she actually did turn mortal, how long 'til she gets caught and snuffed out by some vampire or witch who holds a grudge? (We can't rule out Klaus murdering her in a moment of anger, either...)

Unpopular opinion: I kind of like emotion-free Elena. And I REALLY like non-brooding, sarcastic Stefan.

More Matt, please. Less Caroline and her dress tantrums.

I liked Bonnie almost killing Elena, too bad for Damon and Stefan coming to her rescue. Why they didn't put her in their basement in the first place I will never know. Of course we all know that Elena can't die for real. Nice to see focus on the Originals this episode, but not sure how their own show would do. What would happen without them in Mystic Falls? Don't want to spoil anything for anyone who hasn't seen the episode from tonight, but WTF??!! Didn't see that coming!

I honestly don't know what to make of last night's preview of the Originals. I want to like it but the baby thing may just ruin it for me before it even begins.

I liked how it happened on Angel. It was a good redemption/exit story for Darla.

I am loving the Originals. It has more of an adult feel. Watching a bunch of 30 year old actors have their life revolve around a high school was getting old. And just because Klaus is going to be a daddy it does not mean he is going to be romantically tied to Haley. Her and the baby will just be part of the Original family along with Elijah, Klaus and Rebecca.

What an odd show last night. I feel stupid for falling for it, but I was upset when I thought both Matt and Liz were dead. Both death scenes were shocking (to me) and I was very glad to see them survive—Liz especially.

Bonnie continues to confuse and irritate me. Elena's got no chance of killing Katherine. And Stefan and Damon should make a pact right now that NEITHER will be with/pursue Elena. End the madness!

What an episode! Lexi appearance. Bonnie went and got herself dead, and more Rebekah & Matt. For a badass, Silas sure went out pretty easily. What was so menacing about him again? Sure he can look like anyone and f*ck with your mind but was that it to him? Pretty weak.

I don't think Silas is gone yet, that was too easy an it wasn't even the finale. I got to see Jeremey and Alaric so it wasn't too bad of an episode.

Hell of a show tonight! Not a dull moment and nice touch with the Angel like ending. It's going to be a long summer waiting for the fall season to begin.

I didn't get to watch it yesterday since I couldn't find it on a Canadian CTV channel at all but its been pretty spoiled.

There have been so many ripoffs this season from the Buffy/Angel verse, I don't know if I will be able to stomach the ending.
