Sire bond is a stupid reason for Elena to want to be with Damon. Caroline and Stefan can both STFU!!

Speaking of Alaric. I like that they have kind of upped Matt's role on the show. He's still human. He's the voice of reason and he's like a big brother to Jeremy which is what Alaric was on the show. Matt has moved into the Gilbert home to look out for him. I really like where they are going with this. But having said that.... I sorely miss Alaric. Especially the relationship he had with Damon. That was his bud!![]()
Was I the only one yelling at Caroline to STFU already with the Stelena pimping this episode? Seriously!
Um, she's probably going to get with Klaus at some point and that dude is way worse than Damon. Not to mention Stefan's actions tonight with Jeremy and trying to "fix" Elena. Those were horrible but at least he's not Damon.
On another note, who wants to bet that the cure for Elena's vampirism has something to do with a sacrifice involving Damon since apparently she's sired by him. I'm thinking Elena won't let him die for her just so she can be human again. Either way, Damon will be crushed when he finds out about the sire and Stefan throws it in his face that Elena wouldn't be with him otherwise.
I'm not sure how I feel about Tyler being Alpha Male (or whatever). Klaus can still kill them all easily if he figures out what they're doing, right? And if they somehow managed to kill Klaus (figuring out a way around his immortality), they die, too?
The hybrids seem to be screwed no matter what they do.
Wouldn't it be interesting if the cure works on Klaus? If he is just a werewolf it would be much easier to kill him. Although the implication is that there would not be a cure anymore for the werewolf bite. Interesting!!
What an episode! January 17th seems so far away for a new episode. Can Caroline please get her head out of Stefan's butt?!?! Elena is supposed to be your best friend and you let Stefan know about her and Damon when she specifically asked you not to tell him?? Ugh why don't they just put Caroline and Stefan together with all the time they're spending with each other. Obviously Damon and Elena weren't on some romantic getaway if they were with Bonnie and Jeremy so if you'd kept your mouth shut Elena and Bonnie would've returned and Stefan wouldn't need to know that she slept with Damon. Poor Tyler has no family now. Where was Sheriff Forbes to be Carol's DD? Haven't seen the Sheriff in forever lol.
i love klaus and rebekah. i hope when rebekah comes back she beats his ass. her and kol need to tag team him.
Klaus' slaughter of the hybrids set to a Christmas hymn was one of the more disturbing things I've watched. And poor Carol. Tyler and Bonnie should get together and commiserate that their family keeps getting killed off, one by one.
lol. i dont know. i love me some elijah but kol seems to be the smart one when dealing with klaus. he never sticks around to be staked. plus klaus seems scared of kol. i really wish they would go into that more. i'm so over TVD. i cant wait for this spin-off. all i know is rebekah, elijah, and kol better be there.
I'm so glad Rebekah is back. That little get together she organized was very intriguing. A lot of feelings were finally told and of course Becky makes things interesting.
Great episode that's for sure. Glad feelings are out in the open and things should be interesting with all the people working together and all have their own reasons for the cure/Silas. Nice to see Kol back, but wish Elijah had returned with him!
I was surprised they killed off Cole. Not sad, but surprised. And I'm really glad to see homicidal maniac Klaus making a comeback. I prefer him in scary villain mode to "misunderstood guy who just wants to be loved," personally.
Rebekah needs to drop-kick Stefan ASAP, since she'll never, ever be able to trust him. And Bonnie is on the path to scary darkness, for sure. She should listen to her dad instead of the shady professor who likes spending his time hanging out alone with underage girls.
Elena is becoming more and more like Katherine every day...
I wish Cole was around to tell them "haha told you so" when Silas wakes. with every episode my disdain for Elena grows, and Damon who I once admired as a character is slowly slipping away.
I am enjoying the Originals more and more, and hope that Rebekah does become Human. I totally thing she deserves it. I really don't want Elena to become human again, only to be made a vampire again down the road when she realizes she cannot live without the Salvatores.
Where was Miss Caroline this episode??? seriously miss her
I can't believe they killed Kol!! I really thought Klaus would get there to stop them. Surprising that a newbie vampire and newbie hunter were able to kill an Original so easily. Where have Caroline and Tyler gone?
I can't express enough how much I love what they're doing with Rebekah. Out of everyone, she's the one I want MOST to become human again because she's been back-stabbed so often that I can't help but wish a little happiness for her. I also hope she and Elena come to some sort of truce even though I'm not much of an Elena fan.
Klaus..........has gone off the deep end.
Interesting episode last night. I have a feeling that the cure isn't going to be what they all seem to think it is. Have any of them stopped to think that there is only enough for one person to be cured? If that's the case, how will they decide who deserves it? Also, who says it would work on anyone other than Elena or Caroline as they haven't been vampires as long as Stefan and Rebekah (meaning that they would age/die if they took it). I so wish Damon had killed Shane! I can't stand his character and love that only Damon questions him. I have a feeling things aren't going to go the way he thinks/plans when they reach Silas.
Such a sad episode!! Poor Elena and Matt, both have no family left. Matt lost both his guy friends with Tyler on the run and Jeremy dead. I can't believe we have to wait until March 14th for the next episode!!! Looks like a good one though.
I can't watch anymore. They killed off my baby!!![]()
I don't think we've seen the last of the youngest Gilbert.
It was the saddest episode I've seen in a long time.... the last time when Alaric died. I actually enjoyed Elena in this episode which is saying a whole lot. I felt her and I loved seeing her go through emotions.
I think Damon telling her to switch of her humanity was a little hasty. I think there were other ways he could use his sire bound.
We didn't see him at peace or content with their death like Alaric and Jenna so I'm with you. Also, everyone involved is being a little too quiet about it and Julie Plec has been speaking in riddles.
I will be at episode 6 in season 4 later today (still catching up), but I did see the part where Silas apparently beat him to it,

Gosh, I hope so! There haven't been any official statements of him leaving the show or anything (I don't think?) and yea it looks like Julie hasn't been giving any straight up answers when asked about Jeremy either. I do hope he comes back somehow.

I do too, because if Jeremy died just so the next tortured soul can come along and bitch about how his assistant tricked him (basically if he turns into the next coming of Klaus) and the show becomes all about him then I'll be back to not watching. This whole Qetsiyah and breaking the veil between the other side storyline is confusing on so many levels. Silas's motive has to be revenge against Qetsiyah, because it's the only sense I can make of it. Although at times I wonder if this breaking the veil between the other side is just code for resurrecting Qetsiyah only and the rest of it's angle is just a bunch of BS to get Bonnie to go along with it.
I think Silas has ulterior motives for wanting to break the veil between the worlds. This other side storyline is really confusing. When they first mentioned the other side back in season 3 there was no mention of a purgatory for supernatural creatures. Now it appears that humans and supernatural creatures go to different places when they die. I remember when Esther said that Jenna found peace and when Alaric said he'd look after Jeremy. Now it seems these supernatural creatures are stuck on the other side and unable to find peace. It looks like they are going back on what they said before, unless they mean some supernaturals were lucky enough to find peace while others were not. It's got me really confused to say the least.
I was sort of thinking before that since the hunters were created to bring down Silas, maybe Jeremy can be brought back for that reason. I don't think Silas will be going anywhere any time soon. I'm also wondering if Bonnie will end up breaking the veil and unleashing some monsters that they will have to get rid of later. If the veil thing is true I think the veil will remain open long enough for some supernatural creatures to pass through (Jeremy included) but not all as I can't see every single supernatural creature being brought back. At the same time I think there has to be some kind of twist at the end.

All I know is that this Silas storyline has me missing the first three seasons. It's so confusing and I hope it makes sense before the end of the season because so far, it doesn't. All of this just so Silas can die as a human makes little sense, and I have a feeling that this whole veil thing will be a bunch of crap in the end. I'm officially past the denial stage as far as Jeremy and the others are concerned. I haven't watched the latest episode yet however, but so far it's confusing.
What's the point of having Elena switch off her emotions. Now the show has 2 Katherines now. I felt bad for Rebekah. I thought she finally got her wish to be human. It was good seeing Elijah again. Good show tonight.
If the triangle was completed by the 12 witches dying, doesn't that mean that the veil or whatever you want to call it is no longer in place? Shouldn't supernatural beings be popping up? Or does it take awhile for that to happen? Lots of questions and not many answers at the moment. It was nice to see Elijah last night, has been too long! Poor Rebekah.
It looks like now he has to take the cure. There may be a missing part to this whole thing that hasn't been revealed yet. I think there is more to this whole veil being dropped. I still say he wants to unleash an army of spirits or something and it's not as likely that anyone of them will be anyone we've seen before except for possibly one or two,
