Thumbs up The Good Wife (new season starts tonight 9/25 @ 9:00pm, on CBS)

This definitely one of my favorite shows. I really really like all the characters, and like many i've been waiting patiently for the new season to return. Can't wait to see Will, Alicia to see what happens. I also like Peter so i'm kind of torn with who i want her to be with.

**side note there too many shows on tonight at 9;00. I don't watch these but Drop Dead Diva & Desperate Housewives are both on tonight at 9. I'm also looking forward to new show Pan Am (tonight 10:00 pm on abc) Enjoy the new shows everyone.

I'm totally peeved that they have started the show late two weeks running now. My dvr can't tell that it's starting 30 minutes late. Now I have to wait for it to reair those episodes!

I think it is because of football, my friend thinks it is because of 60 minutes but I think football is the only live thing that could run over. Best thing, record CSI. It's what I do.

It is because of football and will more than likely run like this whenever there is a game scheduled.....I simply set my DVR to end 30-45 minutes later or else you record the next show also...just a thought.

I love, love, love The Good Wife...since the very 1st episode This is one of the most brilliantly written shows on tv...just awesome I am enjoying Elisha more than ever. I suspect Elisha will wind up with her husband again, but I am enjoying the steamy bits of E&W for now

ICAM - as far as I'm concerned, this is the best show on TV. I'm sorry they changed the nights this season because of the possible football interruptions as mentioned above; not sure why that was necessary. I find Alicia to be a bit warmer and at ease (not sure they are the right words to use) this season. But she's wonderful as usual; and it is truly a great ensemble cast. Every single time I watch it, I sort of say "wow" to myself at the end ... that is how good it is.

I watched an episode of The Good Wife around two weeks ago and I floved it! I plan on watching from the first season (I HATE playing catch-up!) and seeing how I like it.

On the last episode, I loved how Diane handled her suspicion that Will & Alicia were secretly seeing each other...by asking about updating the sexual harassment policy...brilliant...loved it. Also, loved the lawyer that helped Alicia. I am carefully watching this newly hired lawyer...the niece of one of the attorneys...she bares watching

I literally just marathoned this entire show over Thanksgiving break and I adore it! I can't tell you how big the grin on my face was at the the end of the season 2 finale. Afterall, the only reason I started watching this show was because I saw that sexy beast of a promo for 3x09. Will/Alicia shipper right hurrrrr.

So am I the only one who would rather see Alicia back with her husband and not Will. Perhaps that is the Big lover in me...And yay for it starting on time now.

I think The Good Wife is wonderful, satisfying great soap. Great character development, intrigue, back biting, mystery, diversity, all rolled together. I too hope Alicia will get back with her husband but doubt it. The wounds are too deep on both sides. Not a fan of Will and Alicia but I understand the attraction.

No you're not the only one. There is something about Will that I do not like. Can't put my finger on it, but I will always root for her husband

  20. #20
Why would you guys want her to get back with her adulterous husband?! The man who managed to screw her over 18 times and probably more considering he wasn't very forthcoming with those 18? The man that once again throws crap in her face acting all high and mighty like in last nights confrontation between him and Alicia: "My god, you have changed. I used to be able to tell when you lied. You’re manipulating the truth like an old pro.” Bitch please. She broke up with his sorry ass (after finding out he banged Kalinda, which was yet another thing he didn't bother telling her about. How many others are there?!!!). He has no right to bitch and complain about her having a relationship with anyone considering they were done. It's not like they were some happy family unit, like when he cheated on her over and over again. No, she told him it was over and kicked his ass out, moving him into another apartment. Peter acting like Alicia screwed him over is incredibly selfish, especially considering he wouldn't have his flipping job at the State's Attorney's office, which he is taking full advantage of abusing for revenge, if it weren't for her. Honestly if people don't like Will as a potential love interest, fine. But Peter sure as hell shouldn't be the logical choice in this bloody situation.

I don't know yes he did cheat on her I don't think any of it was emotional when hers was. I don't know, I agree with Penelope, but Will is creepy and I will also always root for the couple to overcome the odds and stay together. That and seriously, Chris Noth is just too perfect for words.

Maybe not squeaky, but they're a helluva lot cleaner than Peters when it comes to Alicia.

No question, Peter's a jerk but they were married a long time and did produce 2 really nice kids. That said, I don't know that I really want her back with Peter, certainly not to be dishrag. There's just something about Will I don't really like. However, the whole conflict is just so good. Alicia tried for a long time to be The Good Wife. Didn't work out so well and now she's finding her own self, or trying to. Love love the show and all the characters. And to confess, I may be partial to Peter simply because I always rooted for Mr. Big on Sex n the City!

^^^Agreed and I don't think the children will "adopt" or "adapt" to Will so easily. They've both made mistakes and Will narrowly escaped being indited for bribbing a Judge.

I kinda want to see what could happen between them...mainly because I started watching The Good Wife to see 'Mr Big'...I mean Chris Noth I'm not a huge fan of Will, but Alicia had some very Hot scenes with him
I agree, that Peter has some nerve being angry with Alicia; but I think that is just the irrational part of him being forced to acknowledge that his wife is done with him...and has sexual desires for another man I believe there are some men, especially powerful men...that hope the wife will forgive and stay around no matter how badly they have acted

...I continue to Adore this show, can't wait for the next episode!

^^^Michael J. Fox was on again (love him). There is a site that gives great recaps on the Good Wife and I don't know if I'm allowed to post it here. Very detailed and better than I could entertain you with.
