6 dozen egg rolls in that tiny little box????

They must be the smallest ones ever!

Yep, they had to be mini-mini egg rolls.

Very odd that a bar that serves food orders food from other restaurants.
On the other hand, I wouldn't want to eat the food they serve at Ryan’s either – that Ryan kitchen is very unsanitary!

Well I wasn't surprised by them ordering from the Chinese restaurant since that is the other hang out and they said Faith loves them- I figured they wanted some variety. Word may have gotten around that Maeve tastes the soup and puts the spoon back in.

Maeve and Faith are both so unsanitary in their kitchens! Everytime Faith cooks, seems like she has to lick a raw egg off her fingers and then she just starts right in again, YUCK! What's really funny though is how the first time around, I wonder how many people thought twice about any of that. Ahh... 1975- when we licked cake batter made with raw eggs, right out of the bowl, heck, even ROCKY drank raw eggs! And hand sanitizer? Not even heard of in those days.

^^^^and we weren't nearly as sick were we! I don't mind Faith -it is her kitchen and she is usually cooking for just herself-but Maeve- making things she will sell to the public-whole different story. I know we worry a lot more about sanitizing this and that these days and I really think a lot of that is overdone. I rarely use hand sanitizer-mainly when I am subbing at the school-I think too much of it makes us more susceptible to "bugs" and also results in "super bugs".

True, I know I go from one extreme to the other. Sometimes overly concerned about germs and cleanliness – other times thinking I've survived this long and a little "dirt" isn't gonna hurt me.

I meant to add that the cake at the party looked good ~with Maeve out of town that must have been from the local bakery.

I hadn't thought of this in years, but this conversation reminded me of when I was little and would bake pumpkin pies with my Mom- the batter had raw eggs in it, and she would always give me a little cup of it, along with some pie dough, to make my own little pie. I never made the pie- I just ate the pumpkin batter along with the dough together- I thought it was YUMMY! Now it sounds positively disgusting!
