Valerie Harper and her love and spirit are infectious just finished Valerie Harper memoir RHODA and loved all the behind-the-scenes tales of her times on THE MARY TYLER MOORE SHOW and RHODA. What a legacy she will leave�one of the best and most beloved situation character characters ever in Rhoda and years of high impact work in humanitarianism and feminism. A super talent and class act. So sad it makes me aware that the things that I fuss and worry about in a typical day are insignificant. Also, I used to think my Mother reminded me of Rhoda. You will not go unnoticed. I love that she is living day to day. Maybe we want to say how much we admire her work and what an impact she had on so many of us while she can still read it. What an ebullient, dynamic woman. She made an impact on many stages and makes one now again in the most profound way. Outspoken, bright, hard working, indelible. Crushing news. Ms. Harper, I wish you all the best and hope that your suffering is minimal. You have brought me and my family many years of laughter and joy, watching you portray Rhoda on both �The Mary Tyler Moore Show� and �Rhoda�. I hope you can find your own laughter in this time of illness and also hope that you prove the doctor�s prognosis wrong.
