Hey guys! Happy Monday! I'm SO happy to have the show back on! Damn that March Madness for preempting my show!

Today was... annoying. It was a CarJack day, which is, not secretly, one of my least favorites. Still, it had redeeming moments...

Parker being the biggest redeemer of all. This kid has more common sense than 90% of Oakdale combined. He does the right thing, but not in the "Holier-than-thou" fashion, and really just "gets it" when it comes to reality. I can't say that about many characters on this show. Parker has been through a lot in his young life, so I guess that's why he seems far more "together" than most. He HAD to grow up with so much loss in his life.

I LOVED him laying into Faith today. She's such a whiny brat, and NEEDED that reality check that her life is NOT a bad one compared to most. She's just like her mother, who has no clue what the real world is like. Way to go, Parker! I feel as though it's the apocalypse - one by one, the morons of Oakdale seem to be getting some sense knocked into them by others. It's a dream come true!

One person who will never have any sense knocked into his thick skull is Jack. I really don't even know what to say, other than he's displaying the behavior that I've sworn he's had all along. He's NEVER happy with the woman he's with - he's always concerned about the "other woman". When he was with Katie, he was worried about Carly. When he was with Janet, he was worried with Carly. Now that he's with Carly, he's worried about Janet. He can never just be CONTENT, and I don't think he wants to be. He needs to go through senseless pain to make him seem like more of a good guy or something. Maybe that trick works on some people, but not on me.

If I were Carly, I would've thrown him and his pregnancy books right out the door today! If he wants to research pregnancy, okay, fine, that's responsible. Don't you dare do it at the house you share with Carly, though, expecting her to compare notes about her pregnancies with Janet's pregnancy! Way to rub the whole situation in her face, Jack. She's putting up with a LOT to be with him, and I respect that. I just wish Jack respected that as well.

Janet and Dusty? VERY boring today. Except for, of course, when Jack continued to complicate his situation for his own "personal struggle" to add to his heroic-ness. Considering Jack and Janet claim to be so over each other, they don't seem to be detaching very easily.

Lily is a BITCH. Oh. My. God. She gets worse every day! Faith actually hit the nail on the head - she doesn't want Faith hanging around with Molly because she's jealous. What a horrible weight to put on your child, asking them basically to choose you or your ex's girlfriend. Molly is good to Faith, and as her mother, I would think Lily would be happy about this. Of course not, though, because it has to be all about Lily, all the time.

I think that's all for today! Let's keep our fingers crossed that Reid will be on tomorrow or Wednesday - as you can tell by my ranting, I tend to get a little grumpy when I don't get to see him for an extended period of time.
