Hey to all you soapcentral people out there, i would like to say how fun it being able to blog on here and since I have watched the shows since 2001, its nice finding people to chat with because its not usually something a guy watches but the shows in the daytime are the best and primetime isn't so great unless you like procedures which are fun but not always original. I am 23 and a straight male I shouldn't be watching this stuff but i can't help it. The girls on the shows are hot and plus I love General Hospital because of its mob stories but i do wish we would see more of the people from the 80s and 90s because i never saw their stories like Frisco Jones/Mac/Robin/Bobbie/Tony/Monica/Alan/Laura/Luke/Lucky and the other stuff but i like what i see and would like to know what people remember from those days.

Now the reason i like One Life to Live is simply because I think it is a great show and i love the character of Todd because he is always trying to change but never really can. I also liked the stories between Viki and Dorian but i would appreciate it very much if anyone could give me some back info into their long standing feud, that would be very much appreciated. I also would like to know more about the romance that Cris and Jessica had when Erin Torpey had the role and how did Antonio go from being a gang member to being a cop? Also i would like some back insight on Bo and Nora dating. Also maybe some history on Blair/Todd/Tea from the 90s.

Now more about General Hospital-
I don't like that Luke is the father of Ethan because it still makes more sense for Robert to be the father but since we are going to be forced that down our throats, i guess we should just move forward. And who knows maybe at this Carnival coming September 8th, he could be a victim. Not that I loath the character of Ethan Lovett, i would just rather he not be Luke's son because it robs the history. Lets talk about Diane and Max who are hilarious in my opinion and almost doing the deed on Sonny's couch and it was hilarious when Alexis said that it was a new couch and looked at Diane knowing what she was up to. I would rather have more story for Max and Diane than Spinellie because he could still have story but not as much and that airtime could have a story for Maine (Max plus Diane) which i would like to see more of. As for Dante, I am not feeling this guy as much, i know eventually we will see him learn the truth but will he be after Sonny is indicted on a charge or before? Olivia, please speak up but knowing her, it will probably be Kate who speaks up. That is all for now

    First of all so that you know, you can find all kinds of info about characters and their storylines right on this site in the character sections since you desire more history on the show. I find it awesome how passionate you are about wanting to communicate to others about your adoration of soaps. I have been a loyal viewer for really more than 1/2 of my life (I'm 33) and except for the "college" years where there wasn't much time for things outside of partying and sort of kind of "studying" I have been an avid watcher of most of them. I've been unemployed for the past 2 years and pair that with all kinds of personal demons and drama, well the drama of daytime has essentially saved me. I find it interesting that you pointed out that you were straight as if that is so unheard of; I don't think it is but maybe most "straight" men aren't as proud to wave their soap flag as you are. I myself am bisexual so I get the best of both worlds to fawn over. :) By far, GH has always been my favorite. I have never been a fan, like so many, that wanted more of the hospital & romance (of course it's main premise and atmosphere) and less violence and less mob goodness. Of course, I love action and violence and I appreciate that it distinguishes itself from the rest of the soaps in that respect. Kelly Monaco is a Goddess and I am beyond thrilled that they finally are fixing the mistake of tearing Jason and Sam apart. However, they have slowly destroyed Sonny for me as I despise the way he treats sweet Spinelli and still to this day abuses and takes advantage of forever loyal Jason. I am loving Dante and think he could be the answer to fixing Sonny's all around toxicity of a character. I also loved PORT CHARLES which was a spin off of GH for a couple of years and was done in a telenovela concept and revolved around supernatural storylines. I think I am so deeply attached to that one because at the time I was in an epileptic clinic alone and very scared but I could watch PC everyday so it was a great comfort and escape for me. I think that is the main reason why people who look down on soap watchers puzzle me. Whatever takes one away from the hell/chaos/crap that is life should not be critized by others. Oh well, time to let that one go. Speaking of letting go, even though they ran GL into the ground, I have shed many a tear over their upcoming demise. They truly had some of the greatest talent, characters and storylines over the years. Anyway, welcome to soapcentral which is by far the best soap site!

    I also loved loved loved Port Charles and to this day hate that the show got canceled, it was unconventional and that was brilliant, each storyline lasted 13 weeks. My all time favorite couple on there was Rafe and Alison and I hated it when Alison and Caleb did the deed right before the end of the show. That made me very mad they did that. I also loved Caleb and Livvie, anyone could tell that Jack Ramsey could never tame her, Caleb let her be who she wanted to be and she was his Olivia. Did you know what the next arc was going to be if the series had continued? It would have been about werewolves. That would have been so cool
