I am not to sold on this support. It would have gone over better if Lauren would have shown some support and concern to Lily when she was monopolizing Lily's husband and crying on his shoulder. Lauren knew that Lily had a problem with her
Lauren has NOT been expecting Michael to have sex with her. She has t been asking for sex. Since November we have seen her get romantic with him one time. One time in four months. That is not expecting sex from Michael all the time. that is not pressure on him to perform. She has told Michael over and over again that she is concerned about him living and being healthy not having sex. She wanted to go away with him just to be with him and love him. Not have sex with him.
Phyllis and Michael barely interact. I don't think friendships are high on the list for the current witers.
From what Michael has said he doesn't want Lauren to settle for a less than full marriage with him and he doesn't feel like she gets it. So he is trying to push her away so she can have a happier life without him. If it wasn't so contrived and OOC it would be really sad.

And any remorse she expresses is dismissed.
I just can't blame Lauren
