I just watched my recording of last week's show; we've discussed Mike's death here and I knew it was coming simply from reading about the Nicollette Sheridan trial which is unfortunate. I couldn't help thinking what a complete shocker the end of the show would have been and what an impact that kind of ending has on the viewer had I not done so. In these days of so much information on the boards and spoilers etc. (and I generally try to stay spoiler free), it really would have been a "treat" (if you know what I mean) to have seen the kind of ending of a show the way we used to "back when" - i.e. shock and awe.
As it turned out, I was waiting for it to happen throughout the show which totally spoiled what little enjoyment I get from this show these last days. I WAS glad they showed a montage of Mike scenes; that was well done. Still hate that they killed one of my faves though.
