Im sorry but it was completely driving me nuts that adrianas baby she thought was from the guy from rehab and he ended up with aids! I was gonna scream that no one was worried about the baby having HIV also! Thank goodness they changed that storyline quick!

Either way, she can still have HIV/AIDs because testing isn't always conclusive the first time....She should be testing for at least six months, and should be on anti-viral medicine...Sigh HIV is not the same thing as AIDS.

And to add to the poster above....just because you are HIV positive it doesn't necessarily mean that your child will come out positive. They have a lot of medication out there that if taken immediately and in accordance and with help from a doctor your baby can be perfectly fine.

It's a lot of the moms who dont get tested or know they are positive and figure their baby will be too and dont get the proper pre-natal care....these are the ones who sometimes have babies with the disease.

That being said, its a great PSA for young people to get with the program and get tested...use birth control and also to realize that when you are under the influence you can also put your own life and other peoples' lives at risk with risky sexual behaviour.
