I know!!! I was so disappointed in her. I looked at the models on The CW website before the show, and I thought she would be good, but man, she has attitude (not the good kind!)

I'm glad they got rid of that other girl... don't even know her name, but she was way too abnoxious always introducing herself as America's next top model!

I was happy with who they got rid of though, and I was glad thazt kacey girl in the first ep didn't make it after talking all that trash about Isis

I watched, and it looks like it will be interesting, as usual.

I thought a bunch of the 'future' theme stuff in the beginning was pretty cheesy though.

and I'll embarassingly admit that half the time, I'm watching for Nigel...he is sexy, lol.

I think the story that Isis has to tell is an interesting one, but I fear it might overshadow the modeling aspect of this show.

Loved last night - looks like it will be a great season. Some standouts for me are Elina and Marjorie (the french one).

I think the Isis story is really interesting, but I don't think she has the height/look to win. But I really hope there's a way to get her enough money to get the surgery she wants. I want to kick every single one of the girls that were mocking her.

I watched last night. It gave me something else to do besides listen to the RNC!:rolleyes: I acutally love ANTM and have tried to catch every cycle. The futuristic stuff...."let's beam up....FIERCELY"....GMAB, really cheesy!

Good picks this year. I like Joslyn, Marjorie and Nakeysha (HEEEY!!!!). I was hoping Clark would be gone. I can see she is going to be the main pain in the butt this season. I am holding off judgement on Isis.

I agree with the poster that thinks Nigel is sexy. OMG!:-}

As a person of color, I felt bad for Hannah (the chick who was accused of being a racist and who pushed Isis). I don't think her being ignorant (lacking knowledge) means she's a racist. She may be simple but she doesn't come off as malicious like some of the other girls do. The one thing I hate about this show is how catty the girls inevitably get but I really hate bullies and I think Hannah is being bullied.

And as far as her pushing Isis, I don't like people (especially women) to close to me. I probably wouldn't have gotten in the hot tub in the first place.

Well, so far I'm agreeing with the judges on the favorites and on the girls that have gotten the boot!

I love Elina, she's seems really good, and that red hair is so FAB on her!

I also like Lauren Brie and Samantha (same name as me!!). Margorie seems good too, but she is way too timid in panel, she needs to show more confidence.

Isis and her lazy eye.....HA! I laughed when the photographer said that. If he/she doesn't get it together soon, she is going to be gone!

I am not feelin' Elina for some reason....something about her, other than the fact that she HATES her mom but continues to live in her house, eat her food....etc. I can't put my finger on it but she just bugs me!

I love the make over shows. It is amazing how just changing a hair style/color can make someone look totally different!!

I'm liking Lauren Brie too. Elina still takes great pics but did not like how she got upset when they said she was using her mom maybe because I felt she was too with her so proudly stating she hates her mom. I love Josyln and Sheena too. I thought they shouldn't of came down too hard on Isis because it had to be extra hard trying to pose in a bathing suit and not have your manhood show.

I felt bad for Elina because she was being judged without the whole story, maybe she suffered abuse or something and felt her mom should've been there for her she didnt tell the whole story. Hate is a large feeling and it's her mom, lots more then she said is going on there

So glad Brittany went home she was bugging me the whole episode with all the pretty comments

I agree about Elina. Maybe she is a brat who doesn't appreciate her mom but know one knows the backgorund and it should speak volumes about that relationship for a girl to say something like that.

I think this Cycle is dedicated to killing the cockiness in some of these models. Notice, (even from the first show this season), when soemone makes a snarky, or an "I'm it!!!" comment, she goes home - Clark did it last night - she left.

Unfortunately Clark got over confident because of her pic being the best last week and didn't try in her photo shoot this week. I liked Clark ok, but her comments at the beginning of the season regarding Isis, kind of turned me off of her. She may not have been the one I would have eliminated this week, but I wouldn't have wanted her to make it to the end either.

I still like Elina, Lauren Brie, and Marjorie. But Marjorie needs to come out of her shell.

The challenges are getting more tough for the models. They are over-thinking their poses way too much. It seems as if every single one of them had to be coached. I hope they learned from all of Tyra's critique.

I cannot believe they sent Lauren Brie home!!! Except for that one picture, her pics were great! They should have given her one more chance at least, and if she didn't deliver next week then send her home.

I agree babygurl112 they should have sent Sam home. I know her picture was the best last week, but she's really screwed up over the weeks. Most of her pics aren't that great, and she really offended that designer. She has a big fan in Nigel though.

I really like Elina. She's beautiful and smart. So what if she doesn't like her mom! The title of mother doesn't automatically make her a good person. It sounds to me like she was emotionally abusive and really stunted Elina's emotional growth.

I also like Sheena, but she needs to find a happy middle ground.

I like Sheena, but I think she should have left over Lauren Brie. Her picture this week was pretty bad, but Sheena's was awful and she's just been a lot weaker overall.

Yes, Anna and Sheena did amazing on their commercials! Anna really nailed her commercial! I was shocked at how good she was! And i knew Sheena would be a natural in front of the camera! She just seems like she has so much personality, so obviously, that would translate when she is in front of the camera! :)

I really didn't like Sheena and Samantha suggesting that Elina didn't deserve winning the challenge prize because she "doesn't believe in Christmas". Even if she doesn't, that's what models do isn't it?

The judges say it all the time... even if the models don't like what they are wearing or whatever, it's their job to sell it. Who cares if Elina doesn't "believe in Christmas", it's her job to sell holiday accessories, and she did a great job imo!

Great point! I feel sorry for people who can't appreciate Christmas but the cattiness has hit an all-time high with those comments. And I don't remember seeing santa hats or mangers during the photo shoot so it looked like a winter spread to me.

I was sad Sheena left, she was pretty hilarious.

Mckey's picture was gorgeous, her legs looked flawless.

I'm not rooting for anyone....I like all of the remaining girls except for Sam. I hope Sam leaves next week. She hasn't proved herself to me. I could potentially see anyone of the girls winning, and I'd be happy about it. (It won't be like last cycle with Whitney winning when Anya should have :rolleyes:)

BG, Elina has potential, but she needs to let go, and the judges have been telling her that. She isn't listening, and that was proven when Jay was trying to get her attention. All the other models who took Jay's constructive criticisms did very well in their photo shoots.

In the previous cycle, I understand why Anya didn't win. She sucked on that runway walk. Whitney brought it. I was rooting for Anya, but a model has to leave a lasting impression on that last runway walk. It will make or break the person who is supposed to win. The model has to be flawless in that runway walk, period. There is no ifs ands or buts about that. I have a feeling that the judges were leading towards Anya, but she disappointed the judges on that final runway walk. Fair is fair. I loved Anya, but she did not deliver on the final runway walk.

Elina does need to listen and loosen up. I think she has the potential to win...its just up to her to listen to the advice of the judges.

See I always thought both of their final walks weren't that good. Whitney was a little to bouncy and Anya..was a little bit of a train wreck. :] But, Anya, imo had the better pictures even if she did seem a little dead in person.
Whitney had a select few that stood out.

IA. Anya, overall, had better pics, but it was that lasting impression on the judges. A model cannot mess up that final walk. One wants to leave a lasting impression w/ the judges. It boils down to that.

I didn't think either of the girls did that great with their walks either, but Whitney had the stronger walk. When the girls have gotten that far, it means that they are equal in terms of pics, cover girl ads, etc, in the eyes of the judges. It only takes one mistake for the other one to prevail.

BTW, the reason Joslyn got eliminated was b/c her pics were worse than all the other girls. Had she taken better pics than Elina, trust me, when I say that Elina would have gone home. The judges are tired of repeating themselves. As the competition gets closer, it's not fair for the girls to be spoon fed, esp if the models were told that info over and over and over again. ;)

When the model improves as she goes fwd, she has a better chance of sticking around; however, if she starts off strong and slips along the way, the judges will not give her a pass. That's what happened to Jos; she was not improving.

The nerve of Elina; she actually thought that she could have won the go sees. The designers didn't even like her that much.

What's up w/ all those tats on Elina? It is distracting, so I can see how the designers not wanting to take away from their designs. PPL want to see the clothes and not the tats. They have a point there.

I was so disappointed in McKey. Wait to see Amsterdam when everything is over. Don't do it at the expense of a challenge. That was just stupid. I like McKey, but that was just plain dumb. She could have won the bloody challenge.

Anlee got to win the go sees by default. Had McKey showed up on time, McKey would have won the go see challenge.

IA. It was time for Elina to go. I wish they had let her go the last time.

However, this was, by far, the dullest runway walk that I have ever seen.:-\There wasn't any umph to either Sam or McKey's walk. I must say that McKey did improve on her walk for the runway. She is, afterall, a tom boy, so that was a bit surprising. I guess practice makes perfect.

Out of fairness, Annaleigh performed extremely poorly out of all the three final girls. Ms. J had to feed her the lines for her Cover Girl commercial. Even Annaleigh noted that she did poorly. She specifically said that she just threw her modeling career down the tubes...something along those lines. She knew she messed up.
