Have they ever explained Robin's visions of herself?

When Night Shift ended they showed Robin looking at a vision of herself when a patient was wheeled in and then I think they carried it over to regular GH. Did they totally drop it or did they explain why she was seeing herself and I just missed it?

I think it was because her fear of not having a baby made her think about her own mortality, or something along those lines.

I like to think she was waking up from a nightmare at the end of NS. Which I am sticking to!

Otherwise, the three second half assed explanation GH gave one time was how it's normal for people to face their mortality when they are facing a decision like having a baby or something to that effect. :-{

Not as confuzing as Jason being a janitor on Nightshift while being in court and in jail for murdering Lorenzo Alcazar on GH.

Or Cassius acting exactly like Toussant, and looking exactly what Toussant looked like when he was young.

Or Spinelli being a virgin on GH when he lost his virginity on Nightshift.

Or Lainey and Cody magically dissapearing.

Along with Kelly's potential new beau Dr. Andy Archer

Not to mention Carly's nanny Mercedes being a complete different character on Nightshift.

They moved Dr. Leo to GH (i.m not sure why) and who did Carly's nanny Mercedes play on night shift

Mercedes. I hadn't realized until now, but as soon as I saw it mentioned above, I realized that's why she seemed familiar....On NS she played the pregnant girl with the gang-leader boyfriend that had the gunfight in the waiting room of the ER. The gunfight that led to Jolene getting shot protecting Spinelli and Jason shooting the guy to save Robin.
