Hi! I was thinking it would be fun to learn a little more about each other and our feelings about AW and the other soaps.

My real name is Carol and I’m 60 years old. (:| Mahdi was my most favorite feline companion.

I started watching AW when I was in college around 1967 because all my friends watched it at lunchtime and I became hopelessly addicted. I also watched Days from the beginning - or close to the beginning - and I loved it too. In fact there were times when I enjoyed Days the most. Then they started making Days wacky and ruined it. I still watched for years after I became disgusted with it and didn’t really quit taping it until AW was cancelled.

I started watching ATWT soon after the cancellation of AW was announced. I eventually added GH and AMC. I think ATWT is the best soap on the air at this time. Do I think it’s as good as AW? No.

I think ATWT is the closest to AW but there are two things that fall short. One is that the SL’s are more “plot driven” instead of “character driven” as AW’s premier head writer, Harding Lemay, dictated. I hate seeing characters act out of character and do things I know they wouldn’t do. The other is that the characters aren’t allowed to mature and learn from their mistakes as they were on AW. Can you imagine if Rachel had never matured? I can’t and don’t want to.

That’s enough about me! Please tell me about you! :)

My name is Taylor, I am 19 years old and go to college. I have been watching AW on SOAPnet for about a year now. I also watch GH and used to watch AMC before it got really crazy. So far AW is my favorite of the two. My fav characters are Cass, Felicia, John, Sharlene and Frankie.

Hi...my name is Rose (obviously) and I'm 44. Am currently watching AW for the second time around and love it just as much.

Watched with my mother when I was a child and just kept it up until it got cancelled. I also switched over to ATWT when AW got cancelled and, like Mahdi, think ATWT is the best show on the air right now but also don't think it is as good as AW was.

Every time I watch Days (which is about once every two weeks now because it's so ridiculous), I still can't believe they cancelled AW and left Days and Passions on. What a waste.....

Hello -

I'm your friendly moderator and since my Mom watched the first show while pregnant with me, it's been in my life the whole time. I started watch myself for sure at college in the late 80s but I remember watching the double wedding between Mac and Rachel and Sandy and ?? (too tired to pop over the AWHP to refresh the memory). I've watch AW on Tues/Thurs when I get to work from home and kept the tape of the last week. It was my birthday when they announced the cancellation, which I cried, plus I had a 6 week old, so it didn't take much. I watched ATWT after to follow Jake and Vicky but once Vicky was killed off, I watched it occassionally and tuned back in when she was a ghost. My favorite current show is GH but keep up with it by catching the SoapNet showings and Tues/Thurs live, plus the great board on SoapCentral.

I'm glad that our AW board has interesting posts and posters.

I'm Kelly and I live in Newfoundland, Canada. I guess you could say that I was an AW fan from the very beginning. My mom found out that she was pregnant with me around the same time as Ada found out she was pregnant with Nancy. Mom joked that Ada better not have her baby before she had me. I was just browsing the AWHP and see that I beat Nancy into the world by 4 days. :D

I grew up with Another World, my friends and I loved it, I cried for days when Ryan died and I cried again when I heard about the cancellation. I wish more than anything that I could get Soapnet so I could watch it all again.

I'm in my 40s and watched AW off and on in the 70s but became a huge fan when Kale Browne joined the cast as Michael Hudson. It was great to see a guy who had a great sense of self but also knew how to laugh (and love). I loved the romance between Donna and he and thought he portrayed one of the best daytime dads ever. I loved his relationship with Vicky (all four of 'em though my fave was Anne Heche). I don't have Soapnet so I don't watch the show in reruns but do drop by here once in a while to see what's going on.

Right now, I'm hooked on Jerry verDorn's portrayal of Clint on OLTL. And I positively ADORE Walt Willey. He is one fantastic guy, is a heckuva actor and treats his fans better than just about anyone. And man, is he sexy. Finally, Erica Kane found the perfect man in Jackson Montgomery. I'd be one happy camper if Jack and Erica got some great airtime. I miss that twosome.

I'm Phil. I started watching AW religiously during the late 80s, while in high school. The first major storyline I remember was the spark of Sam and Amanda's romance, at her coming out party. I think I pretty much stopped watching when Rachel and Carl got married. That went a little too far for me. My favorite characters during those years were Jake and Vicki (played by Anne Heche--I lost interest when Jensen Buchanan assumed the role).

It's great learning about all of you! Another World was a soap that really did appeal to people of all ages. It's tragic that NBC thought only the teenage market was important. :-S

I'm Judi and I watched AW with my mom (now departed) and sisters as a young girl. I am now pushing 50 and view SoapNet as well as other soaps (via DVR). It is my goal to view all soaps currently on in US with some regularity. At one time or another, I have watched them all. I loved the Steve/Alice/Rachel triangle but later lost my heart to Mac Cory! There was never a more dashing character on soaps (or tv in general) than Mr. Watson and every time I tune into SoapNet I miss him more! Sooo nice to see more fans of AW! Also, nice to meet moderator Steph!:)

I do so agree about Mac Corey, Raine! Mac was one of a kind and I miss him to this day. The untimely death of Douglass Watson was so tragic. Imagine how difficult it was for his fellow cast members - the show really did have to go on. I had read so many interviews of his fellow actors (before his death) and they had always mentioned what a wonderful person Douglass was and how much they loved him. I'm sure it was hard for them - it was hard for the viewers.

Hi everyone! :D

I ADORE Another World!

I am 30 years old, and watched AW with my mom from as far back as I can remember. In fact, at 3 years old, I even named one of my dolls Dr. Kevin Cook (http://www.igs.net/~awhp/1kevinc.html). <-- click :) (I think it was a girl doll, though. Hehe.)

Anyway, I watched the show off and on (but mostly on) from the late '70s through the mid-'90s.

My all-time favorite character is Vicky Hudson (Anne Heche ONLY!) and my all-time favorite couple was Vicky (Anne!) and Ryan -- hence my username. ;)

My second-favorite couple was Cass & Kathleen. Their first go-around, that is.

As a kid, I was also really into Sally & Catlin. Yeeeah.

Cecile was awesome, too.

The team of Cass, Felicia, and Wally -- those were the days! (Also, I once ran into Brent Collins -- actually, he ran into me -- literally! It was at the Metropolitan Opera House in Manhattan. I was 7 or 8 and was terribly excited -- and slightly freaked out -- by the whole thing.)

Anyway, I pretty much loved all the characters -- Matt, Michael, Donna, Mac ::sniffle:: , Jake, Marley (Ellen Wheeler was best), Ryan (I can't wait!), John, etc. In the future, I look forward to seeing Lorna (the first one-- I LOVED her), the oddly effective pairing of Matt & Donna, and Judi Evans' stint as Paulina.

I think this soap had the BEST writing, the BEST acting, and the most grit and determination. Not to mention, heart and soul! Nothing can beat it.

Well, that's me. :) I look forward to chatting about AW with everyone here. Unfortunately, I am always about a month or two behind the SoapNet eps, 'cause I don't have the channel, and watch the show thanks to a wonderful friend of mine and her TiVo. :)

P.S. Are we allowed to post screencaps here?

Welcome Aboard, Runaway Horse!

I'll always think of Ryan and Vicky when I see your screen name! :)

We can't put screen caps or any kind of images in our posts any more because they took up so much space and slowed down the board. :( I know that seems unimportant on this little board, but the "active soaps" have huge boards with thousands of posters.

But there are free sites where photos can be posted and I would love, LOVE it if you could post screen caps somewhere and post links here! I don't get SoapNet, so I'm not actually able to see the reruns. I keep up with what's happening by reading the daily transcripts at TV Megasite. So it would be really wonderful to have some sceencaps!

Hi my name is Carrole and I am 44. As you can tell from my screen name I'm a cat lover. Just kidding my family has raised and shown Belgian Tervuren since I was a baby(Althought I have nothing against cats).

I watched soaps with my Mom as a child. In fact one of my early memories is of some woman standing on a ledge on "The Doctors".

One of my All time favorate soap couples of all time are Vicky (Anne Heche) and Ryan. I also loved Cass and Frankie, Micheal and Donna (Anna Stewart) and anything involving Felicia. And with the second viewing I am coming to apprecate Tom Eplin's Jake (How I could have miss that the first time around is beyond me).

Exciting times are coming (Hello Ryan) I can't wait

Hi, GoneToTheDogs!

I think we're all waiting with baited breath for the arrival of Vicky's White Knight! :D

I didn't realize how much I cared about Tom Eplin until right before he was shot. They had made him so bad, I was afraid that he couldn't be redeemed and they'd just write him out. I was surprised to realize that I would really hate to lose Jake - the show just wouldn't be the same without him. :-7

I am 66 years young and watched AW from 1968 until the end. I followed some of the characters to other soaps and still watch but always wondered what happened to the other leads actors. I hope in one way they all earned enough money to retire if that is what they wanted to do, but if anyone has news of Rachel, Iris, Steve Frame or any of the others please let me know. I cried buckets when Mack died as I knew it was real. Good luck to you all I wish I had soapnet but I do keep up with the news here.

33 years old. First vivid AW memory was the double wedding of Sandy and Blaine/Mac and Rachel. Loved Cass/Felicia/Frankie/Wallingford and Ryan and Vicky as interpreted by Jensen Buchanan. I did not care for the last few years of AW, as I think they were as different from what AW was about as Passions is. Also, I was not an Anne Heche fan by any means, unlike some of the posters here, though I of course respect their opinion.

My current favorite shows (when I get a chance to see them) are ATWT (especially) and GL, as they both have some AW-like aspects (mostly ATWT, which is somewhat more character-driven). I have also seen more than a few episodes of Y&R, although I strongly suspect that I could not watch it for a year and fairly accurately describe what would be going on.

Actually, I did mean Frankie. I realize that Frankie and Wallingford didn't overlap (at least not to my memory). I didn't mean to imply that they were in the same storyline. I liked Kathleen as well, though Cass clearly had more chemistry with Frankie.

Oh, I just figured you meant Kathleen, since she, Cass, Felicia, and Wally had all those adventures together and stuff. :)

I disagree, though, about the chemistry thing. I thought Kathleen and Cass were a much better couple, although I did like him w/ Frankie, too. That said, in re-watching the show on SoapNet, I like Cass w/ Frankie much less than I did back then -- they have a brother/sister vibe to me or something. ::shrug:: I don't get any "heat" from them at all.

I thought I had already responded to this thread a long time ago but I don't see it now. Anyway...AW was my favorite soap. I was upset when they took it off the air and I still refuse to watch Passions. My favorite storyline was anything with Vicki and Ryan, it was so sad when he died. I also liked Cass and Frankie. My favorite villans were Grant and Carl. I loved hating Grant, the actor did a really great job. Cindy was outrageous and made me laugh all the time. My favorite overall character would have to be Jake. Can't believe ATWT killed off him and Vicki.:[

Hi Mrs. Evans!

I basically agree with all your favs. :)

I do watch ATWT, but I choose to regard things that happened to ATWT's Jake and Vicki as only being relevant to ATWT, not AW. ATWT's Jake and Vicki story is like fan fiction to me - interesting, but it didn't happen on AW, so it doesn't count. Only what aired on AW counts as part of AW's history.

#-o Sheesh! I'm not explaining this very well. What I'm trying to say is that ATWT's Jake and Vicki are dead, but AW's Jake and Vicki are alive and well in Bay City. That's the way I see it and no one will convince me otherwise. [-(

I agree Mahdi. Sort of like how Bobby Ewing died on Dallas and Knots Landing, then he didn't die on Dallas, but was still sort of dead (Gary and Val's boy was named after him) on KL.(:|

On a side note, it still stuns me that ATWT still hasn't used Cass as more than a stock character, when there is a shortage of single men in his age range on the show with many leading ladies (especially when they made Hal asexual).

Welcome Aboard, HEYoltl2006!

This is the man who kidnapped Rachel and held her prisoner in the pumphouse on the Cory estate in January of 1978. His name is Sven Peterson.

http://www.igs.net/~awhp/1sven.html

Mac hired Sven as a handyman on the recommendation of Mac’s housekeeper, Helga Lindeman, who was his lover.

Sven was bad news. He had killed the father of Helga’s daughter, Regine and he was guilty of all kinds of crimes and plots against the Cory’s while he worked for Mac.

Rachel's kidnapping came about when Sven wanted Mac to think he was the father of Regine’s baby so he would marry Regine. (Mac and Rachel were apart at that time.)

Sven drugged Regine and Mac and put them in bed together so they’d wake up and think they had made love. Sven kidnapped Rachel to keep her from finding out the truth and telling Mac.

Sven forced Rachel to make a ransom tape. Mac recognized the sounds of the pumphouse on the ransom tape, so he rescued Rachel. But Rachel was knocked unconscious during the rescue and when she woke up she was blind. That was first time Rachel was temporarily blinded.

I hope AW stays on SoapNet until The End too! I hadn't really thought about it until you brought it up, but they'd better not cancel AW!

I doubt that NBC will stay in the soap business very much longer. They've been threatening to get out for quite a few years now. They really don't believe in the soap genre.

PRE-BIRTH Fan" made me smile, to the NOW college student, to the 44 yr. old ..... all the way to we 50+s..... !!

Why OH why could not the "powers that be", the 'numbskulls' who took AW off the air.... SEE THIS WAS ONE THAT SHOULD STILL BE ON...

Wouldn't it be the best if all of us could be writers on it now, there's great ideas on this Board. Gosh, "Charli" FRANKIE's Daughter would be how old now ? BUT We've only Seen Cass as He is this many years later, Still an attorney during Recurring visits to ATWT, most currently Gwen's attorney in a custody battle... He still Looks Fairly good (just a little more weight) BUT That Means ALICE Barrett- Could Still look FABULOUS !!! as his Wife no matter what her name is, (I mean Anne or Frankie)

Oh yes, I don't remember when I began watching it... it was later than the alice, steve years... I know a tiny bit about them, But I'm such a Fan, it feels as tho I've been from the beginning. I'm a physio-psychologist AND LIFE does imitate Some Art... there are real life scenario's that are similar to AW storylines... I had an office for 23 years, but 3 years ago, I was able to semi-retire and move my "Counseling Corner" into the front part of my house.
And (SMILING) I do need lunch, so I set my lunch time from
12:45 pm to 2:15 pm, and nourish my physical body in front of SoapNet And ANOTHER WORLD... While Frankie & Cass, & Vickie & Ryan, and Charlene storylines were on the front burner, I'm there every day, when they are more infrequent, I time tape the show, so I can fast forward.

WISH I could help The Canada people who said they didn't get SoapNet. see the show !!!

Welcome KauaiSandra!

Charlie was my favorite of the children and I loved Brittany Finamore's portrayal of her.

I think Charlie would be out of high school by now and possibly out of college. I wonder about her. What did she decide to do with her life? Something interesting and worthwhile I bet. Is she a lawyer like her dad? If she followed her mother's footsteps and became a PI, I suspect that would worry Cass to death. What about her heart condition? The doctors said she would probably need another operation in about 14 years, so she should have had it by now. And the big question - is she psychic like her mother? :-?

I do so wish Cass and Charlie would move to Oakdale, so I could see both of them all the time. There is zero chance they would bring Lila too, but I could live with that.

Hello,
My name is Joanne. I started watching Another World when it started. I really loved this show and was broken hearted when they cancelled it. I wish that I could get Soapnet, there is so much I have forgotten about the show. I think they should rerun the whole thing on TV not only on soapnet but for people that don't get soapnet.

Welcome, Island Girl! I wish they would run AW on a station I can get too. :( And I think they should have started it earlier - at least back to when Cass and Felicia came on board. There was great stuff back then - Cass and Cecile, and Wallingford, and Kathleen.

It would be fabulous if they could start at the beginning, but I've heard that not all of the tapes are available.

I keep coming back to read this tread to see the new entries, AND the Ideas are just wonderful.... Mahdi, great idea Thread !!!!

I just read the ... ' hoping Charlie would come to Oakdale when her Dad Cass appears on ATWT, BOY, I WOULD SO Love to See Charlie Now, Hoping she looks as much like her Mom FRANKIE , as humanly possible, Red hair, slim, Vivacious, Psychic, doing something Worthwhile, maybe in Humanitarian venue.

Our current World could use that.

Having said that... It would BREAK my Achy Heart if 'lila' was even mentioned, let alone shown.... I WANT TO FORGET Lila ever happened to Cass on ANOTHER WORLD, It was just too UNreal, No Genuine spark, and THEE most horrible way to end the AW soap... the silly, ridiculous gorilla s/l....

ANYWAY, CHARLIE, I WOULD LOVE TO SEE HER, Looking-Like and Bringing Back our Glorious Memory of FRANKIE..... Alice Barrett COULD BE a Consultant for the actress who gets to play Charli .... !!!! OR

BETTER YET, Alice Barrett could Surprise AW Supporters and BE the ANNE character from AW.... like ANNE & Cass had gotten together while AW was off air .... AND Now they could explain on ATWT how that happened and
How CHARLI, has benifitted by a relationship with Anne (her mom's look-alike)[/
Can I post this on the ATWT site ALSO ???? Is that kosher ?

I would love for Charlie to come to Oakdale with Cass. She would fit in well with the other young people. I really liked the actress who played Charlie last, Brittany Finamore. I thought she was very believable as Cass and Frankie's daughter. The actress has grown up and changed a lot of course, but I still think she should be Charlie. Here's a new photo of her:

hi you guys. i started watching AW back in...1990-something, right around the time of Vicky's wedding to Grant (and I immediately fell in love with Ryan and Vicky...awwww!). I loved, loved Ryan and Vicky. And also Carl and Rachel were fantastic. And I loved Cass and Frankie too. (wow, how much I loved this show. I just got all nostalgic.)

Welcome Kelleycat!! :)

Didn't Vicki look beautiful when she married Grant? That should have been Vicki and Ryan's wedding, but it was pretty anyway.

It's good to hear from someone else who loved Carl and Rachel. Their love affair was one of the most unexpected, daring, and marvelous stories I've ever seen on a soap. I would never have dared pair Rachel up the man who had been the lifelong enemy of her and Mac. But Victoria and Charles are such amazing actors they made it work and be believable. I miss both of them so much!

I loved Cass with everyone, but Frankie was my favorite. She was so unique!

Hi all

I'm new to soapcentral...over at Y&R threads.....

I'm April...33 yrs young...mama to 2 girls aged 6 and 2....stay at home mama. Wife to Mark. Ontario Canada.

I grew up watching Y&R since womb, as it was introduced the month prior to my birth. Mom swears the music theme song calmed me, does to this day. Been watching that my whole life. Took up watching AW in very early 80s with mom.......watched until it went of the air. LOVED it. I used to love the darn theme songs for it too!

Loved Carl, Felicia, Vikki, Ryan and Jake! Sigh. Cried when Mac died, laughed when Rachel had her issues.....miss it alot.%(

Welcome CanadianY&RMama! Glad to have you aboard! We're always happy to meet others who loved Another World! :)

I know that AW had many fans in Canada. It's a shame they weren't counted in the ratings.

I think Mac's death was probably the saddest thing I ever experienced on a soap because I knew Douglass was really dead. Sad as Frankie and Ryan's deaths were, at least I knew the actors were alive and I would see them again.

(smiling) not having the predominant darkness of her Dad Cass.
THANKS so much for supporting the idea of her coming to ATWT... The only ONLY reason I'd want jade to stay around Is because CHARLI has to Be A Sweetheart when she comes on board... A SWEETHEART with a Mission OR Good Storyline Employment.... MAYBE SAVING THE EARTH from pollution !!! That Is Something FRANKIE would have done.... SAVING Trees from being Clear-cut.... There could be intrigue with that one, Because the developers Would Be after Her.... as they are after me for attempting to save the earth from turning into Concrete planet.
(apology for getting intense there... BUT Really Charlie Would Be Believable doing something like that !!!)

I'm Erin. I'm 26 and work in a museum. I started watching AW in 1993. It was my first soap and my all-time fave. I loved Vicky/Ryan (both versions;all-time fave couple), Jake/Paulina, Cass/Frankie, John/Sharlene, Cass/Lila, Gabe/ Lorna and late Jake/Vicky.

I'm so happy that I have SN. I appreciate Cass and Frankie so much more now than I did the first time around. I also (FINALLY!) got to see Mac. I'm sooo excited about getting to watch R/V from the beginning and getting to see AH in the role; I'd heard so much about her. I also love getting to see early John/Sharlene.

For me, in so many ways, 1995 was the last great year of the show. So many things happened towards the end of that year and the next that just messed things up. (It started on such a high note though.) Ryan died for good. Jake/Paulina and John/Sharlene got trashed in ways that seemed so out of character. Frankie died. *sigh* I did watch until the end though, and there were some high points, but I think AW lost a lot in about a year's time.

Now- I watch ATWT, AMC, and AW on SN. Am I the only one that sees HUGE parallels between AW's R/V and ATWT's Jack/Carly? The similarities are incredible. Strange that R/V are my absolute faves and Carjack never have been, though I love the actors and think the chemistry is fantastic.

Erin.....ICAM about the similarities between Vicky & Ryan and Carly & Jack. Too close to be coincidental IMO.

mahdi
08-16-2006, 11:36 PM
Oh, I agree completely Erin and Rose! Before there was Jack and Carly, there was Ryan and Vicki - the good cop and the bad girl. She lies and schemes, he judges her, they break up, they make up, they break up, on and on. The main difference is that Jack didn't die, so he and Carly were able to get married on this earth and have children together. I wish Vicki had been able to have Ryan's child, but at least they were married in Heaven. :(

Hi Everyone, I'm GG from New Orleans. I'm 45 and I don't remember a time when I didn't watch AW. I started when I was very young with my Mom and watched until it was cancelled. I was thrilled when I found it on Soapnet - just in time to see Ryan again. He has always been one of my favs. I also watch AMC, but it's getting a little too goofy for my tastes.

Hi my name is Jean, my screen name represents my feline girls past and present. One of my first memories is my mom watching ATWT when I was about 4 or 5 years old. She watched AW also. I remember I liked Missy and Bill, his mother was such a bitch. It was the classic rich boy/poor girl story. The first soap couple I ever loved was Steve and Alice!! I watched during summer vacation. I even followed the actors when they went to OLTL. Young Robin Strasser was hell on wheels even then.

Hi! just call me Rose.
I started watching AW as a very young child. Of course I missed a lot going to school, then working etc. I watched many soaps through the years but AW was always my Fav until about the mid 80's I watched AW and then its spin off Texas. After Texas was cancelled I still tuned in occasionaly to AW and kept tabs until Mac died, after that it just lost its lustre or something to me. Rachel was always my favorite character, her and her many loves and lovers...lol I remember the Mathews, the Frames , the Coreys, and some I cant think of last names and/or 1st names right now....I remember my 1st encounter with age soaresing<would that be the term?> it was lenore and Walters twins...boy and girl. I dont watch the soapnet reruns as they are all the later yrs when I had lost interest...would never miss an episode if they would go back to begining and start from there. I miss the days of old with soaps where there was core families, story lines with a begining middle and end. I watch all the cbs soaps now seems like theres too many characters hanging out with little to no reason..and story lines that just get hurried through or just dropped and disapear...core characters just seem to fade away/disapear for no reason and are rarely to never mentioned again...sigh
I love this thread it brought up so many memories. Would love to see some similar ones...maybe pick a character or plot from days of old and discuss what we remember of it or felt about it?
I will keep reading to see whats up....Thanks For The Memories.

Welcome Aboard, GG, Jean, and Rose!

I love meeting others who loved Another World!

Rose, the AOL P&C Classic Soap series starts in 1980. It has Jim Matthews and Pat Randolph, and others long gone on the SoapNet shows. Remember Clarice and Larry Ewing? It's great to see all of these old-timers and, of course, to see dear Mac alive and well. Maybe you'd enjoy these episodes. :)

A little about me. My name is Lillian and I am 27 and I have been watching AW since I was in the womb. My favorite characters were definately Vicky (both actresses) and Ryan. I mean They were just incredible together. And I loved the Jake that is yet to be. I Read a post mentioning Stephen Schnetzer (cass) is single again. Cass isn't married to Lila? What about their Daughter?
Anyhoo I was absolutely addicted to the show and now I swear I am clawing at the couch looking at GORGEOUS RYAN'S FACE and the Vicky/Ryan Chemistry. Yowsa!!!!!
I wept Hysterically watching the lase episode. I actually took that day off as a personal day. I felt robbed of my family when they left.
Anyway. I love soap net for airing these episodes and I love my DVR because I don't care what time slot they push it too I will be watching

Welcome Aboard, Snowflakeball!

Ryan and Vicki's love story is so beautiful - and bittersweet! I couldn't stand it when she lost Ryan. :(

I didn't see the post you're referring to about Cass, but I don't think anything has been mentioned on ATWT about him being single. Far as we know, he's still married to Lila, but they don't mention her when Cass in on. As much as I loved Cass & Lila together, I think the only way they would ever make Cass a permanent ATWT cast member would be if he were single. So, I'm willing to see that happen just to have him on ATWT full time.

Hello !
My name is Wendy, I'm 40 yrs old and live in Ontario, Canada. Like many of you, I have watched AW since childhood. My mom always hated soaps but when I was playing over at my friend's house, her mom would always tell us "quiet now, it's time for my show". So it began.

I still can't believe that AW was cancelled and a stupid show like Passions is ont he air. Well, I don't actually know if it's stupid ... I keep reading that it is. I have not really watched anything on NBC since it cancelled AW. Even it the Rchel/Carl twins thing was a bit ridiculous .... I still loved it all !

What/who I loved most about the show - Ada, Jake, Rachel, Morgan, Paulina and Joe, Cass/Frankie/Felicia/Wally... and especially Ryan and Vicky (Jensen's Vicky). I remember Blaine and Sandy, "Bella", Russ... such great characters.

They had such strong friendships on that show and I think it's what set it apart by far, from all other shows.

I would look forward to see the show every day when I got home from work. My husband even got addicted to it.

I watch Y&R now, but it's not the same. It is not even in the same league.

I hope I can get the re-runs where I live - I'll have to look into it, but really, a smart network should reconsider and even bring it back, even as a 30 minute format. It works wonders for B&B. It would be great to have an update and get back as many characters as they can and go from there.

Wishful thinking ....

Have a great day everyone !

Wendy

Welcome to the board, Wendy! :)

I totally agree that AW was better than anything on today. We were robbed! :(

I want to watch the online shows because they start in 1980 and that means we get to see all of Cass's stuff - Felicia, Wally, etc. But they published 9 shows over a month ago and none since, so I'm getting discouraged. I don't get SoapNet unfortunately and it's making me crazy with Ryan and Vicki just getting together and Cass with Frankie. So much great stuff! I hope you do get it where you live!

Hello
I'm Christina and I am in Ohio. I used to watch Another World when the CBS soaps would be preempted. I was shocked when it got cancelled. I first started watching soaps in 2004 after watching General Hospital. I'm a big fan of the ABC soaps, especially GH. Sonny Corinthos is my favorite soap actor and Tess/Jessica Buchanan is my favorite Female character. I also like Days and Guiding Light.

Passions was AW's replacement.:P

AW was Canada's #1 soap.%(

Jensen really perfected the roles of Vickey and Marley. People insisted that they were two separate actresses The best Vickie/Marley ever, although I loved them all. It was a role that each actress was able to make her own because of the compexity of the characters. In a pole, the duo were voted the best twins played by one actress on daytime. My favourite storyline in Anne Heche's time was the "Sisters in Silence episodes.

A lot of the actors in the Mac Cory era came right off Broadway. It was the #1 soap in Canada.

It's great learning about all of you! Another World was a soap that really did appeal to people of all ages. It's tragic that NBC thought only the teenage market was important. :-S

It became an expensive show with big salaries. No campain to save the show was more vigorous than the one up in Canada. Victoria Windham worked up here every chance she had.

You are sooo right. They were two different worlds. AW was originally supposed to be a spin off of ATWT but the network did not want to purchase the show so it was sold to NBC (no body cares).
ATWT moved to the old AW studios because they were so large... I see pieces of the AW set on ATWT, eg: part of the set of Ryan & Carly's house comes from Sharlene Frame's farmhouse.:)

Hi everyone :)
My name is Debbie and I'm 42 yrs old. This is my second run of AW and it's sure great watching it again and revisiting the characters again. I love the writing on the show and was very upset when they cancelled the show and put something like Passions on (sorry). But I couldn't understand why they cancelled the show-the ratings were still pretty good and the writing is better than some of the stuff that's on now.
At least this soap dealt with family issues.
I loved Frankie/Cass, Vicki/Ryan ,Rachael/Carl and Felica. I cried when Mac died.
Hurray for soapnet. Hope they keep it on and let us watch it till the last eppy

NBC deliberately interfered with the storylines and ran the show into the ground. They easily could have beefed it up and kept it running for its 50th aniversery but salaries were high and it was an expensive show. Passions  AW knew passion!!

Some of the old tapes from the beginning are just in bad, bad condition. :(

:P I posted an idea to ATWT when widower Jake McKinnon married again in Oakdale that it would a great way to reward the watchers that tuned in when Jake and Vickie moved to Oakdale. I proposed that the AW gang came to the wedding to give him thier blessing. At least Donna and Marley were there... sigh %(

O Canada! They were married in Banff Alberta Canada! I was passing through at the time and I changed my plans and stuck around as long as I could. The storyline was filmed at the Banff Springs hotel.:-}

:-7 Did I mention it was #1 soap in Cda??? :] ...and Ada too. That was for real. One of the best "mom" characters ever on daytime. I see the actress, Conctance, in old black & white movies and TV show as quite the glamour girl!

Erin.....ICAM about the similarities between Vicky & Ryan and Carly & Jack. Too close to be coincidental IMO.

Did you pick your icon, like I did, beacause he was an AW alumni? You'd think he'd look awfully familiar to Cass...:-?

NBC interferred and also didn't promote the show. They forced it into the low ratings so they could justify cancelling an expensive big salary show. /:-}

Lil

I love your monogram. My annual New Year's Eve gathering is named the snowflake ball! 3 actresses played Vickie/Marley. I didn't watch the last two episodes of AW until August. I was in denial. :(

OK, I've had a lot to say at 2am to a lot of you. :D
Now me... I'm Cris (no "h", couldn't afford it) beginning the journey called 40's and love it so far. I began watching AW one summer when school ended. It was mom's show right along with The Edge...of Night. It must have been 1972... could have been earlier. In one form or another I followed the show when I couldn't view it. Formerly of Vancouver BC Canada, now in Edmonton AB Canada (yay Gretzky) since July. One of my fav lines from AW was "you think I shot Jake...don't you? (O Donna) When I am stunned for something to say I reply..."you thing I shot Jake... don't you?
If u haven't seen any of my replies yet, I did mention that AW was Canada's #1 soap.
I have the last 8 weeks of the series. I did not watch the last two episodes for 2 months. They sure had fun with that one! :]
I am so glad that this site is up and running.. I've been waiting.

's junky decisions regarding Another World.

They paid Friends 6 actors, 1 MILLION $$$$$$$$ Per Episode,
Another World couldn't have been that big a salary !!!

But like I said in another post,
After FRANKIE was killed, I couldn't watch it anyway,
It was too, too Sad who they put Cass with and the
Dumb gorilla s/l.

BUT I AGREE, IT WAS A GREAT SHOW,
AND another one they took off .... I Loved RYAN's HOPE
It was about the more Real, Ordinary Humans.... just a couple
richer ones, but some very NICE middle class Americans...
I'm taping Ryan's Hope, (now moved to 5:30 am on Soap Net)

I loved it when Ryan's Hope WAS On, JUST Before ANOTHER WORLD,

AW was the soap I watched the longest, not any more now that it's cancelled but it was my earliest soap memory. I can't recall not watching it, lol, I think I may be a womb watcher too! I can remember Pat Randolph stabbing a man in the back who tried to rape her, I was like 6 years old lol, nice viewing for such an age. And the Matthews clan, Jim and Aunt Liz and Alice and Julia and Russ. Even more traumatic was watching Janice stab Mitch and Rachel kill her in the pool in self defense, I was at my grandmother's house with my aunt and all three of us were freaked out! I even made it to St. Croix once and all I thought of was " I wonder where that pool is ...."
My absolute fave period was Catlin and Sally on the run from the evil Carl Hutchins and his hitman with the sunglasses who killed Julia! Nice to know they are married in real life and happy.
Cass Winthrop has to be one of the all time best characters on any soap, Crystal Lake anyone? Loved him with Cecile, Felicia, Kathleen and Frankie, not so much Lila. Jake Mckinnon was another great character too, too bad neither were scooped up to work on another soap, didn't follow em to ATWT so now that they (Jake and Vicky) dead kinda ruins the end of the series. And yeah, why doesn't Cass recognize this Dusty dood as his bro?
Was also a huge Texas fan watched the whole thing to the end, glad they brought back Vivian and Iris and Dennis. Hey, how about a Texas message board anyone? I loved that show!
I heard NBC wanted to make all their soaps the same like weird supernatural stories to attract viewers, look how that turned out for DOOL and Passions! AW didn't want to, I guess.I am not sure who they have working at NBC daytime but they have to think of another line of work, Generations & Santa Barbara were groundbreaking award winning shows, both killed off. AW was the first show to go to 90 minutes, that is how popular it was once!
Wish I had Soapnet, but here in Canada it is unheard of ...%(

Hey, my name is Doug, and I actually watched Another World for only one summer...way back in 1984. The following year, a switched to...another world...As The World Turns, that is. But in 1984, I remember characters, Nancy McGowan, she was dating a guy named Perry, I think, or she had a major crush on him. My favorites were Cass Winthrop, and Cecile...I can't remember her last name... they were much fun that summer. One of those mad cap adventure stories. Much to my surprise, a bevy of AW characters showed up on ATWT after AW was cancelled. Including, Cass, Vicky, Marley, Donna and esp. Jake, who was on the show for a year or two, before his character died. It as great to see how both soaps, from two different networks, no less, intertwined, even some stories taking place in Bay City.

Hi Doug. Jensen Buchannen (Vickie) decided she wanted out to be with her children. Living on the W coast made it difficult to do both. ATWT is produced in NY)
ATWT and AW were both Procter & Gamble shows. Originally, AW was to be a spin off of ATWT, which is why Bay City & Oak Dale are so close.
There was no room on ATWT's network, so, AW debuted on it's own on NBC.

AW had huge studios, so ATWT moved into them. One can see pieces of the set from AW on ATWT everywhere.

Hi there, I read about it in the soap mags at the time. I followed AW for years and saw homes all the time. The sets are easy to spot for me because I knew the show so well. For instance, part of Sharlene and John Hudson's stair case in their farm house is in Carley's house on ATWT. You may not know them yet but keep watching...B-)

Another World was an expensive show. Most of the actors were right off Broadway. That was the advantage to being in New York. Proctor & Gamble owned the show and NBC (NoBodyCares) network leased the soap. They OWNED Passions and even tho it is better now, I understand Passions had very green low cost actors with no shirts :*) parading around without good dialogue.

I had no idea that AW went "supernatural" in the final years, I moved out of the country in 1997 and only saw it briefly when I came home for visits, sadly never saw the end of the series. NBC had some of the greatest soaps and ruined them all, used to love DOOL but it is so damaged I usually skip it most days :] (pun intended) apparently it will be cancelled in 2009 anyway for the 10 th hour of the Today show, at this rate the Today show will just turn into the Tonight Show at midnight!!!
Watching AMC now reminds me of the Sin Stalker and how cool that SL was! Anyone remember that?
Yeah Dusty was Dr. Morgan Winthrop on AW back in the 90's, he was accused of raping Lorna I think and was dating Colleen Dion's character who's name escapes me lol

1st You're Fortunate You didn't see the End of Another World... The Ending & the gorilla Junk, Was So UNworthy of the fine years of AW.

Sigh... maybe it is that u didn't watch "seriously" and didn't realize that the gorilla represented a story line involving actors who have since deceased, esp Wally a most beloved character...:-S

The show had only 8 weeks to wrap up when cancelled. The important thing is that by the final episodes storylines were wrapped up and on the last day...%( The actors/characters were able to convey their own messages to the fans of the show. The big celebration was the prior 35 yr aniversary.

The show got to end with it's tongue planted firmly in it's cheek just the way Texas... The next generation got to. (but THAT's ANOTHER story):x

Hi everyone...I'm schlumbug...and I was a AW addict! Don't even ask when I first started watching, I have no idea how old I was, but lets just say, the bra commercials made me giggle. :)

I watched on and off for years. My grandma (baba) she lived for the show. Could barely speak english but would launch into a tirade of Ukrainian curses everytime Iris or Cecile showed up on screen. Don't know how many times she hustled me out of the house because AW was coming on. Oh how I loved that beautiful lady.

Cass and Frankie...undoubtably my favorite AW couple. Loved them for the same reasons I loved Tad and Dixie. Wonderful chemistry. They could do it all...love, laughter, anger, tears. Just beautiful work by Steve and Alice. When Frankie was murdered...that was it...I was done with AW. Just like I am now done with AMC.

There were so many magnificent moments on this show...Frankie going off to heaven and holding the child she miscarried (oh gawd how I cried!)...and who can ever forget Crystal Gayle's hair whipping back and forth as the Bay City Strangler went after her...now did she sing You Are My Way to Another World with Gary before or after that scene? Anybody recall? If it was after...she was one little trooper. :)

I don't get soapnet which really irks me ALOT!! If any of you do have it, I would gladly give up a kidney if you could put some scene of Cass, Frankie or Cass/Frankie on line. The eppies on the AOL site are not coming through very well and those that I have been able to see are from quite aways back. I would just love to get a glimpse of what I almost blew college Anthropology for. :)

Look forward to getting to know you all...and so nice to see some fellow Canucks! Greetings from Alberta folks!

Your welcome... I was reviewing the twins past, :-? and wanted to tell you that many ppl know, over time Vickey and Marley were played by 3 different actresses. Originally Marley was played by Ellen Wheeler and was Donna's daughter. Reginald, Donna's father, sent his wife and Donna away during the pregnancy and passed Marley off as Donna's sister. When Vickey rolled into town with her friend Jake. The family was forced to reveal that Donna had twins and she was indeed V & M's mother. :o M RARELEY called Donna mom.
Then Anne Heche played the twins followed by Jensen Buchannen... eventually Marley was burned in a fire and had extensive plastic surgery and when the bandages came off Marley was played again by Ellen Wheeler :o until the end of the show.
What many ppl don't know, a fourth actress played Vickey Hudson Mckinnon! #-o
In 1990 Jensen needed time off and Cynthia Watros took over the role for 8 episodes. CW eventually ended up on Drew Carey.

I am Melissa and I am 33. I watched AW since I can remember until the last day. I am so bummed that Soapnet is taking it out of the lineup.

Hello Another World fans!

I must confess, I am not an AW expert but I am somewhat familiar with how the show began. I have a deeply personal connection to the show. My mother Liza Chapman played JANET MATTHEWS on the show from its first episode until the spring or summer of 1966. She was a striking blond who played Janet, the nonconformist "career girl" who gave advice to other women and had her own professional career in some corporate capacity. One controversial aspect to Janet was that she had had a hysterectomy and was unable to have children. This enabled the writers to pair her up with guest stars. She would always have to confess to her guest star boyfriend that she would never be able to give them children and they would break up. Then she would date another man, and so on. I think she was a likable character but a bit edgy for her day.

The trouble began when my mother, Liza Chapman, became pregnant with me! They shot her from the chest up for a while but ultimately decided to write her out of the show because her pregnancy was incompatible with Janet's character. So mom had me on August 22, 1966. The following December or January she received a call from her agent with the good news that she had an audition on SECRET STORM. she got it and began working in January, I believe. Unfortunately, on the way back to Connecticut from a party in New York City with some actor friends of hers, my mother died in a car accident on January 21, 1967. My father was driving but survived the wreck and raised me and my three siblings.

Over the years I have heard many great things about my mother and seen countless photographs. We have one audio recording that my mother made while traveling. The one thing I would love to do if at all possible would be to see one of those old Another World episodes she appeared in back in the '60s. For me, this would be a lot like actually meeting her. I've tried several times in the past but have not been able to find any of these shows. I came close once in Beverley Hills at the Museum of Broadcasting there. In their database they actually have her name listed for one of the early shows but the tape did not contain footage of her.

So there it is. If anyone can help me locate or view one of these shows it would be immeasurably meaningful to me and my family.

Here is some info about mom if anyone wants to check it out:

33/m from Florida here...

I started watching when Jensen Buchanon moved from OLTL to AW, but stopped watching in 94 or so when I switched jobs. The soapnet replays were great while they lasted, but I was hoping it would go to the end.

I had just found the episodes on aol video, so I signed on to share the info and found a 6 month old thread on it... LOL

Hi, I'm Julia, 35 years old from Virginia. I started watching AW in college in the early 90s. I was so glad when Soap Net brought it back. I enjoyed seeing the older episodes more than I expected. I started watching just after Mac died, so I never saw him in person. Seeing Mac's last Thanksgiving toast broke my heart. I was happy when Vince & Mary remarried. I was able to see how my favorites Cass & Frankie first met. The Red Swan mystery was how I entered the series, so it was interesting seeing how it was set up, even if it still fizzled in the end.

It's really a shame SoapNet has canceled it again. They're in for a surprise if they think AW fans will just sit back and accept it though. I wanted to see more!

If anyone has a Livejournal account, I'm the moderator of the AW community called baycity. It's not very active unfortunately.

Hi, my name is Juli, I am 46 (egads!) and live in VA. I started watching AW and Days when I was in HS in the 70's because my mom watched them...AW was always my favorite and I gave up soaps all together when they took the best soap ever written off the air. I started watching again when I found them in 2004 on SoapNet...I can not begin to descibe how disappointed I am that they have discontinued it. Idiots. My favorites will always be Cass & Felicia--but I loved them all...every last one of them. Other major favs include Vicky (esp. Anne Heche!) & Ryan, Jake and anyone, Mac & Rachel...oh how I miss you Mac! And I guess really Cass and anyone...he had the best ladies to work with. Alas...

I see no mention of Lee Randolph, John Randolph's daughter, who was high on LSD and leaped to her death out of her upstairs bedroom window. Seems I rememer her dad, John looking out of the window to the ground below seeing her lying there. This was the first day I watched it, and got hooked. Stayed with it until Robin Strasser left. AW was my very first soap, followed shortly by GH.

I loved the Rachel, Alice, Steve triangle, back in the 60's, and how several years later, they all ended up playing parts on OLTL.

Hi everyone! My name is Tish. I'm 31 and from GA.
I grew up watching AW starting in the early to mid 80's until it ended. I was so happy to get it back on Soapnet in 2003. I'm now saddened that it is gone.
I'm enjoying watching episodes on P&G/AOL site from 1980.
I'm also a Days fan. Recently started watching when Patch and Kayla returned. I even run my own message board called SoapWorld. It's a the Yuku site. I must say, I never knew so much went into a message board. I'm loving the tech side of things. Never thought I would. Anyway, back to AW.
I loved Vicky and Ryan together. If there was anyone else for Vicky besides Ryan it was Jake. I also loved Frankie and Cass together. Of then there's Felicia. I so enjoyed her. LD was wonderful at Felicia. Some of my other favorite characters are Rachel, Mac, Carl (the ultimate villian, my favorite villian), Matt, Josie, Dean, Jenna, Kathleen, Of course all the McKinnons were favorites of mine, Iris, Sam, Amanda, Sharlene, John, Michael, and Donna.
So glad to meet all of you!!!!!

I don't remember her. Wish I did. I only started watching in the 80's. I think it's cool that she was from RI though. I was born there. Nice to meet you. I hope you find the shows your looking for. :)

I'm Joyce..I live in Virginia and I am 62 years old. I miss Another
World so much..I used to watch AW and AW-Somerset faithfully
every day after high school back in Seattle, Washington
in the early 1960s...I remember all the characters..the Matthews..
the Magowans..the Coreys..the Carringtons..and the Frames.
I remember Janice Frame and her hatred of Rachel Corey..I remember
Steve Frame and Alice..and Willis Frame...and of course I remember
Aunt Janet Matthews as well..she was the most beautiful woman.
with the most marvelous speaking voice...and I remember
the Coreys' maid as well and I can still visualize that living
room at the Corey mansion..with the dark red and black drapes..
and the French doors out to that patio. I believe my favorite
couple on that show were Rachel and Mac Corey.
Didn't this Janet Matthews have an affair with one
of the characters on AW back in the 1960s? What about
John Randolph..did she have an affair with him?
I forgot all about the Randolphs..Pat Randolph..Beverly
Penberthy was a beautiful woman. I remember Janet
Matthews very well.:)

I'm Alex, and I'm in my late 40s. My mother raised me on Edge of Night, Secret Storm, ATWT, GL, AMC, and Dark Shadows. Our favorite of all time was Edge of Night, but our second favorite soap was AW. I lost touch with the show while working on my PhD during the mid 80s, but picked it up again during the mid 90s. I would tape the episodes while I was teaching, then watch them at night while doing prep work or grading essays. I was furious when NBC axed the show, especially for that wimpy Passions. Ugh! My mother, who died several years ago, and I would discuss the storylines on AW every week. She missed the show as much as I did.

I adored Rachel in all her guises, with Russ, Steve, Mac, Carl, etc. I loved all the Matthews clan, as well as the Frames and Hudsons. Cecile was also a favorite, as was Sandy. Cass was always fabulous, especially with Frankie and Felicia. I loved Jensen Buchanan's take on Vicky/Marley. The whole Vicky/Marley storyline with Buchanan and Ellen Wheeler was amazing. I loved Donna, as well. I enjoyed Anna Stuart's later performance as Greenlee's mother on AMC. I adored Jake, as well. When they killed him off, no less after they'd already killed Vicky, on ATWT, I was really sad. AW had a great blend of fantasy, reality, romance and humor that is sorely lacking in current soaps. These days, I watch soaps with much less frequency.

I started watching AW back in 1964 from what I remember. I was a little girl and watched it with my mother. My first memories are of Pat Matthews killing her boyfriend Tom and then being on trial. John Randolph defended her and they ended up marrying some time later. I also clearly remember Bill and Missy (who I thought was so pretty).

I do remember Lee Randolph, John's daughter. She was in love with Sam Lucas and had been given LSD by someone. She had hallucinations and was frightened that she could never have children because they would be born deformed. It was a sad story. Sam ended up marrying Lahoma after Lee died.

By far my favorite supercouple was Steven Frame and Alice Matthews. I thought Alice was beautiful and I adored Steven. There was such intense chemistry between these two characters. My heart was broken the day they killed Steve (George Reinholt) in a helicopter crash. AW was never the same for me after that although I kept watching off and on through the years.

I also enjoyed Cass and Frankie and Felicia. Also the Vicky/Marley story lines. Jake and Vicky were another favorite couple.

I recently saw some old video clips of Steve and Alice. Wow. These actors can act circles around today's soap actors. Just wish there was a way to watch the oldest episodes.

Hello fellow AW lovers

I'm 44 and started watching AW at 12, in 1975 or so, with my sister. I have been hooked ever since. I about had a stroke when they cancelled my show..............for Passions and left DOOL's on? Made no sense to me and never will. I miss my AW family, Rachel, Carl, Jake, Vicky, Felecia, Cass, too many to name them all :) but I'm sure you know what I mean.

I loved Cass and Wally and Felecia and their adventures, one character I really missed was Cecile DePoulginac (SP?). Ohh, her obscession with Cass. Then there was the Majorca days, with Sally Catlin, Cass and Kathleen. I was glued to the set with my friends.

I don't remeber all the characters and s/l's from the older epi's and so am enjoying AOL immensely, it's like watching a new show in some spots and visiting old friends in others. Oh how I cried when Douglas Watson died (Mac). It was AWFUL, and you just knew Victoria Wyndams grief as Rachel was very real and made it that much harder.

I also adored the Love family with Peter and Donna and Nicole and adored when Michael came to town.

Anyway, after my sister quit watching I carried on, and remember when something especially exciting was going to happen, I would somehow manage to become ill and not be able to go to school LOL

I will never forgive them taking my show off the air but, I have rediscovwered old friends thanks to AOL.
Happy watching all.:)

Erin.....ICAM about the similarities between Vicky & Ryan and Carly & Jack. Too close to be coincidental IMO.

I don't recall, who said it but in an old SOAP TALK interview, somebody said Carly and Jack were patterned after Vicky & Ryan.

Hi,
My name is Frances and I started watching AW either in 1964 or 1965.But I can't remember the exact year it started.Since I had arrived in the states from Scotland and saw different shows in 1964 like,The Secret Storm" "The Edge of Night" just to mention a couple.AW was a super duper one IMO and it truly broke my heart when it was taken off the air and "Passions" was aired.Such poor taste:[ Again IMHO.

It would indeed be wonderful to see AW airing again and for sure I would watch it without a doubt.
As a matter of fact I had the honour of meeting the delightful and talented Paul Michael Valley(Ryan) before it was taken off the air.A real thrill for me and he was tickled to know I started watching AW from the first show.Let's all hope it makes a comeback;):) Hugs, cheffran

Hi, cheffran!:)

I'm pleased to be posting with, yet, another longtime AW fan. I was the third generation in my family to watch the show. How nice for you to meet Paul Michael Valley! "Ryan" was one of my all time favorite characters on the show!B-)

Regretably, SOAPnet no longer carries reruns of Another World. So every now and again, I pop over to the AW boards to see what's going on, and I saw your post. If you are new to these message boards, then I say,"Welcome!" :)

Hello Cheffran

Nice to meet and exchange alphabets with you :) I too was a long time viewer and really miss AW. Welcome to the AW board, love to hear how you feel about AW, your favourite s/l's etc.

I have been watching older episodes on AOL and have been loving them again. I just watched the trial of Rachel for killing Mitch and she has just run off to find him. I love seeing Ada and Mac again. Clorise and Larry, Blain. I'm looking forward to Sandy showing up.

It is always great to meet more AW fans, hope to see you posting here again.
